I saw this pic in Racerhead - RV is running gold numberplates on his MEC bike. I can't help but wonder why in the heck don't they use these gold plates for the champs in the regular SX races? Red has always looked weird to me - I think gold would look better on every brand of bike. Is it a TV camera visibility issue?

That gold plate and gold on the helmet looks like shit. May as well put a disco ball on his head!
He ran the red plates and a new Thor helmet that looks way better than the previous ones. (you knew this if you took a peek at the homepage)
Tastes and colors are always different but for me I would pimp that ride with only 4 colors: green / black / white / gold, I would be curious to see how classy it would look will 3 colors less (yellow / red / blue). Must ask sponsor's brand managers about logo colors!
Everything blue in gold.
