I'm a new member here, mainly because the Supercross guys over at SX.com have, for now, completely closed the Forums there! Hope this place never does the same! Tongue

Not really sure. Amanda made a post over here that SX.com was being updated. Supposedly they forums will be back, but who knows. Shutting them down was probably a death sentence. I was a member of a Ford truck forum that was freaking huge. It was larger and more active than this site! They changed owners, shut it down for a couple months and now there are only a couple of post each month. I fear SX.com has made a huge mistake.

They have the name, but agreed, the longer they take figuring out Wordpress, the harder it will be.

GuyB did it with motodrive, but look how long that took.
And that's working it full time, if not around the clock.

I dunno, wasn't that the place with a woman admin or moderator?
I know one of them made me feel like my mother was watching everything I typed......... what fun that was...............

Huge changes at SX.com it's true...and some of us feel "homeless" right now. But, the boss tells me that the message boards will be back very soon. Another board made up of SX.com expatriats have spread lots of false rumors about what has happened. We are simply rebuilding with a different server and different platform...things that have been sorely needed for years now.

Please be patient...we'll be back!

Hey Terry! hey......just out of curiosity here.....why didn't they create a new website "first".....then implemented it in without skipping a beat? Shutting a site down and then creating one afterwords doesn't make much sense when you think about it. I didn't post over there all that much , but did cruise the site every now and then to see what was going on. Good luck on the new site when it goes online.....I'll be sure to check it out.

Because I am simply not the computer-friendly guy that some others are...the answer to your questions on why the egg before the chicken or whatever is...I don't have a clue. It is what it is. Hope you'll keep on dropping by when things are up and going.
