Well if his riders can't keep up with him, then he might have to!

No, maybe when he turns 50. Maybe.

I was thinking about his involvement with Suzuki and now involved with H&H. H&H most likely do not have a title contender in Brock to justify a factory Suzuki. However RC riding a National would bring huge publicity for the H&H sponsors and justify that Suzuki.
To do a selected national I would suggest, would be no more pressure than Lorreta's, and twice as satisfying for RC, I am assuming ? not to mention the added attention to AMA mx.
Makes total sense,,,,,, I wish.

Who would smoke him? He is not racing right now, is this thread and related good or bad pr in your opinion? At what point would his result be bad pr? Would it matter to different sponsors on his result whether it is good or bad pr? What would Factory Suzuki need to see from him for it to be good pr? What about say his oil sponsor, or chain sponsor? He came off a couch after years, and ran down, who was it, Jessy Nelson at a qualifier? Remember, he was much faster than bubba, in bubba's prime! Now he is involved with factory, maybe he will be riding more. I'm sure he would do exceptionally well if he started to ride seriously now. I think it would be great pr for all involved. Is getting 2nd place getting 'smoked' in your opinion? If not, what is?

it was actually Jeremy Martin that beat RC... He ran down Jessy Nelson? wow, great PR right there. and if you think for one second that RC "got off the couch" for that race unprepared, its no wonder you think he'd race a national. keep the dream alive bro.
let me guess what's next... he should race a 2stroke too, right?

No, I'm not saying he would, although I would love to see him 'smoke' most the field anyway. Jeremy Martin, that's right. He's pretty good! I just sayin', he could probably do real good, and it would be great pr. You gonna be racing that perris series?

I will try to get to the next one. Not sure if Lucas Oil track is still having those free racing fridays, but they are pretty fun, and no pressure for the old, out of shape, or newbies.

I think RC enjoys being retired, riding a little and teaching a little

with the health problems he had during and from training, he will probably never get anywhere near his race shape again. ricky wouldn't line up if he wasn't going to the front.....

let the man chill. he put his work in...

I think if he wanted to he could be competitive. Do I think he will try?.........No. I think he's content to let that dog lie.

Get RC over to the VMXDN ( Veterans MX Des Nations ) next September in England.

Hughes, Mcgrath & RC ( now that team would take some beating )
