despite losing the Nations, will catching and passing Dungey in that last moto give him extra confidence for A1?

From what I have seen, he doesn't care who he is racing, he will do what it takes to win, and he is going to ruffle some feathers in 450 Supercross this year, he wild out there. Reminds me alot of Damon Bradshaw.

It is going to be awesome!

I definitely think Barcia is underrated by some. He will make a big dent in the 450 class. Next year though.....I'm really curious to find out what Tomac can do on a 450. I seriously think he will be one of the greats in this sport when his career is at an end. He is built to ride a 450.....and is one rider I wish would skip his 3rd year on the lites bike. Something about that kid shows me some greatness and we'll see his full potential when he finally gets on a 450. Barcia though.......I think he is going to do better than what most people think. And yeah.....he is a little wild and really fun to watch!

If there's one thing Barcia isn't lacking, it's confidence. I doubt Lommel made any difference.

Barcia has always gotten a lot of hate, but I've always admired him. He doesn't give a fuck who you are, he isn't intimidated. If you make an aggressive pass on him, you'd better be ready because it's coming right back. That's a rare quality. If someone gets passed aggressively by a top guy, a lot of people give up. Not Barcia. He's going to be a contender from the get go on a 450. His starts are phenomenal and he proved he can run with Dungey and Villopoto even when they're in the midst of a championship battle.

He has a shot at the SX crown this coming year imho. The young man is a natural born racer, has matured a bunch on the track the past year and rides with a ton of heart/guts. We have seen how he rides the 450 outdoors and he seems to possibly be a better indoor rider. I think with the confidence of a couple of wins he will be big trouble for the big guys!

I think he can go top 3 in Supercross on a regular basis. Though I can also imagine Trey looking for similar performances, so it'll be an interesting dynamic and some exciting racing between the two Honda riders. Presumably both are in for the Monster Energy Supercross Cup thing?

Yeah that's probably more realistic than what i said, at least initially. I think one of the biggest goals for him is just to make it through a season healthy.

I absolutely agree with your sentiment about Tomac.

I'm openly not a Barcia fan because of his personality. I like his riding style but his personality doesn't impress me. I'm curious to see if he has the maturity to know when to make an aggressive move and when not to. On the 250 he's been good about it but I just wonder if he's going to do something stupid and move over on a triple and collide in mid air like he did with Dungey when he rode a 450 outdoors. I enjoy watching him race, I just hope he doesn't turn into the next rider that is a wrecking ball. . .

I doubt Barcia lost any confidence in lommer. He beat all the top guys exept 2 after 3 days of training

Barcia is a better sx rider than he is on outdoor tracks. Should be a great 450f sx rookie season for him. There's a few other 250f riders I would love to see in the 450f class such as Tomac and Stewart.

Yes,in his second race he beat a few of the best sandriders like de dycker,nagl,leok... !Great ride by barcia,he was the only american rider who impressed me.

Are you thinking of Seattle where Wilson tried to take him out and got a dose of his own medicine? That was awesome. I loved it. Tomac rode awesome at SLC too though. Both him and Barcia look like they're here to stay for awhile. I just hope Tomac improves his starts on the 450.
