I guess but Herlings was 28th on the first lap and started back to back motos. None the less those two were on another planet. Loved AC's celebration

Unbelievable...both of those guys are on another level at that track. Cairoli had him covered and turned it up when he had to. That guy is a LEGEND and no wonder he is 6x GP champ. Heirlings is pretty impressive as well. Riding on that since he was a kid and he makes it look so easy....No shame losing to Cairoli. I am extremely impressed with both GP champs and how fast they are on their home circuits...Unreal....Justin Barcia didnt do so bad either. 3rd against the GP's elite on a track that he has never seen and on a bike that he had little time on. He had AC like luck in that first moto, otherwise he was solid....

Watched the whole race....no way....AC is the MAN....both on the same bikes, both started on the same gate at the same time....AC was pacing himself through the middle of the race and then wicked it up at the end when Jeffrey got close. He isn't a 6x CHAMP for nothing. That was a lesson in winning right there....

barcia got all excited and lost focus the first moto and went downhill from there. im sure roger told him to settle down and ride smooth. to bad dungey crashed, looked like he anticpaited barcia going down and was hard on the brakes and crashed himself

looked more like he hit a kicker and got thrown over the bars to me.....Maybe he lost focus? Barcia was in 5th when his brake locked up....would have been a solid results if it werent for the mechanical...

Im glad somebody respects this accomplishment, because i cant name one, not ONE other single guy can reel in Cairoli from 25 seconds back and keep him honest! You know they are fast when they almost lap the 450 AMA Champ and lap the 250 AMA Champ and the runner up. Well Done!

I thought I heard Herlings say on the podium after the first moto that he felt great and was fresh....Kind of didnt have to work very hard in that first moto and it wasnt like AC hadn't raced a moto prior to it either. Kid grew up on this track and is phenominal, but Cairoli was better that moto and did what it took to win. absolute no shame in that and those two showed that they are the best riders in the World and on a different level on that track....

He's name is Jeffrey Herlings 100%

He had a bit of an answer when he got informed by the pits that jefrrey was closing in.

first jeffrey closed in with 3-4 seconds per lap and later with 2-3 seconda per lap.

reason why herlings couldn't make it happen was because he had a smaller break and lost a lot of energy with riding from last to 2nd.

Very impressed with Barcia. I think Dungey checked up when he saw him going by and anyone who's ridden sand that deep knows you don't chop the throttle. Barcia def showed who was the sand boss on the US team, makes me wonder how Tomac would have run. I really didn't care for JB before this year but he's a fucking animal like SBarrington said yest. No quit in that boy, I really dug I when he got passed by Paulin and shocked it back up

Lierop (this is jeffrey's backyard) ar both sand tracks but totally different

Lommel is cairoli's backyard cause he lives in lommel for about 6 years.

Most world champs are kings of sand. Euro HQ for most GP racers where ever they are from is Belgium which is mostly sand. Toni had to learn to ride sand to win a world title. Being Italian it was like being from SoCal but he did it because he had to.

I think the rest between motos would have given JH the boost he needed to push past AC and like I said had they started 1-2, forget it! JH isnt sand king, he's the sand god. I've been watching his vids for a couple years now and knew he would bring it. If you're a moto fan you have to appreciate the clinic him and AC put on

Barcia had like 25+ huge moments in the last heat (and prolly alot more offscreen). I wouldnt call him the team captain just cause he held on to the bars this time. He had good speed, but was very lucky not to have crashed 5 more times.

Ok, I must have misunderstand what the announcer said than because I thought he said he grew up riding that track.... Just so you know, the start is part of the race.....same bike, gate dropped at the same time and the checker flag flew for the guy that got there first...In this case it was Cairoli.....No disrepect to Herlings and you can carry on with the "would've, should've, could've..." stuff but Cairoli stil won and got it done when he had to. Jeffrey caught him and had what 4-5 laps to make it happen and couldn't. Either way it was an awesome display by both and really fun to watch.

AC is amazing, i'm most impressed with Herlings though, the amount of passes he made in just a lap or two was straight up awesome, dude can rail in the sand.
