Mike Chamberlain was a supercross racer probbaly 20 years ago....my gpa was best friends with his dad. mike was fast, hje raced with mccgrath meaning he was able to finish in front of him or behind him....if anyone remembers him or has pictures or videos please comment!

He was an MXA test rider for years, and I am pretty sure he had a ride on the Pro-Circuit Kawi team for a while as well (?).

You can probably find many pics of him in the old MXA archives, but since he was a test rider his name was not linked to the photos. He graced a few covers as well (MXA) from what I recall.

Chamberlain was on Team Peak/Splifire/Pro-circuit Kawasaki for the 93 season the 1st year they were on Kawi's from honda's but soon faded off the pro tour....he was #60 that year.

I remember racing against Mike and Jeremy as a 125 novice at Perris and De Anza in 1986-87. Yes he was fast and yes he did keep up and beat Jeremy. Good times. Long ago.

Mike got married??? I thought he was gay! Tell mike Joe from seattle said hi.

Here's a story. When mike was just 17 I flew him up from socal to seattle for a race called the dealers challange. Nobody knew who he was. We took 2 new YZ's out of the box and he won all 6 motos and took home a few grand. 2 months later he signed with Mitch for pro circuit.

1 more.... 1 day we were riding off the 60 fw where they had dumped 100 loads of compost. (shit) We convinced Mike he could Jump three piles. He hit the first one and burried the front wheel sending him face first 80 feet into a 12ft pile of crap! It was packed in his helmet covering his goggles and stuffed all around his mouth. He smelled like crap and had to ride in the back of the truck back to Corona.

When Mike was a Novice, nobody beat him that year, including Jeremy. He won Ponca City (ahead of Jeremy), the Golden State Series, and a few more big series races plus a ton of local races. I was his sponsor at White Brothers at the time. He was the guy to beat. Also, his birthday is tomorrow (as I write this on April 29).

I saw Mike crash and get knocked out for a long time at Perris in the late 90's, It was a VERY SCARY crash. Never really saw him after that and always hoped he was okay. Good to know the guy is doing well!
