Sorry Bob, that is flat out wrong...

I have heard loads of racers the last few years say Friese is a dick and a danger to other riders...

Grant, Hill, Weimer, Peick, Hahn off the top of my head without even pausing to think about it...

To be fair, even Friese says so, DMXS interview... Look it up. He makes no apologies for it, but that doesn't mean it is ok. Rubbing is racing, but taking people out for the sake of it is just fucken stooooopid

I'm pretty sure Vitards have among the the highest rate of latent or expressed homosexuality on the Internet! Genova makes a tongue-in-cheek if/then statement for affect and all the Chick-fil-A hating posters don't get the joke. Classic.

From where I sit, it seems that MCR has the luxury of not having to pull down anyone's drawers in the industry and polish their meat helmets to succeed, and this fact irritates the crap out of the traditional "industry" types.

As Genova points to the sky and says, "Scoreboard". Both on the track and off, in motocross and the real world. Reality sucks for the haters so I guess they have to start making things up to have it all still make sense.

Exactly...in the words of one well respected team manager. "It's not what you know, it's who you blow."

Industry positions should come with knee pads.

I'm backin DL here. You've promoted Vince's behavior. Even people involved with your team have said that...

On the original topic though a huge congratulations to mike! After talking to him a few times this season. Especially at elsinore I don't think I've ever heard him more happy as a pro.

I have no doubt the man has more money than I do, but I can confidently say that if Genova points to his life and says, "Scoreboard!" that I would be able to say, "I'd rather have the points that I have on the board than the ones you have."

I feel like Genova is an unprofessional douche, and your retort is "hater." Nothing says "I have no valid argument here" than calling someone a hater.

I'm not a fan of Friese on or off the track, but I'll give him a pass for the Glen Helen incident. He was out-douched on that day.

Oh, and congratulations MA800 on a great season!

Yeah, because any successful business will tell you to steer away from filling a niche or striving to gain market share.

Your reading comprehension skills are as strong as ever. Re-read, then repost.

Just in case you miss it the second time around - here's what I said: The reason he is successful is because he filled a niche, not because he was the best to work with. Therefore I am suggesting that niche filled = success.

It was a good hustle, though.

Well, I would argue the effectively filling a niche does = "the best to work with" and also = success. But yeah, thanks for getting me up to speed.

Funny thing is you forgot to post the "not because he is the best to work with" part in your original response. Not sure how my lack of reading comprehension is at fault for not being able to read your mind.

Mr. Leib, in my opinion, you were the cause of the incident @ GH, that subsequently got your team member's jaw broken, and ego broken. I suspect that you directed them to get between VF and the starting gate, which is the cause of the fight, where Vince found himself having to defend himself. Each side has "eye-witnesses" but when the dust settles, and the truth comes out, you and your team will come out on the wrong side.
Your son is an excellent rider, and if you would have just allowed them to race, without trying to cause trouble, the race results would have been the same, and Michael would have prevailed, without incident. Your clan, including Mr. Crucean caused the fight, and you, sir are the reason Mr. Crucean has a broken jaw, and a bruised ego!

great showing this year boss.

thanks for being a gutsy businessman and taking in MA 800 under your awning when so many shied away. I'm not sure if it's the team, or time but something brought a new level of maturity to that young man and he was a lot of fun to watch race the entire year.

As serious as assault charges can be, one could assume that this would be settled in court, but Friese was never arrested and I can't find anything on the net that suggests a case against him is pending.

That being said, on the internet it seems as though Napoleonic code is the norm where one is guilty until proven innocent.

This piqued my interest so I took a quick look-see at the court docket and the complaint.

The most interesting part of it?

This clown GENE CRUCEAN is a modern-day Rich Cain! Track-suing SCUM. See for yourself:

GENE CRUCEAN, an individual,

V.

GLEN HELEN RACING, INC., a California Corporation

"Plaintiff is informed and believes, and based thereon alleges, that at all times mentioned herein, Defendant GLEN HELEN RACING, INC. (hereinafter "GLEN HELEN") is a California Corporation located in and operating in San Bernardino, California and is thus subject to the jurisdiction of this Court."

"GLEN HELEN did not follow its own procedures, policies, and/or rules"

CAUSES OF ACTION
NEGLIGENCE

"As a direct and proximate result of Defendants' aforementioned negligent conduct,
Plaintiff suffered and will continue to suffer, damages in an amount to be proven and determined
at the time of trial."

When we have nowhere left to ride, when all the tracks are sued in oblivion, we will have nobody to blame but the track-suing SCUM. I say burn 'em all at the stake!

Well, that says something about Crucean's character, or lack thereof.

He gets pushy with a racer that's trying to line up for a race. He gets his ass kicked, then sues the track? Wow!
