Congrats with your 8th place in de the 2nd heat!
Not bad for a Swedish guy with no GP experience.

Spot on! Exact reason why he race in US from beginning. Your 100% correct. He ride De Nations last year (GP?)but exploded his frontwheel downhill. He is for sure right now with Kim Lindström (2 GPs only this year, cost 4000 dollar CASH in Euro on table to Llongoadminstration) is Swedens biggest hope. Are they fastest riders in Sweden? Maybe not? Filip Thuresson playing with everybody when they race in Sweden, easily. But he's busy picking up babes in dads Lambo, train and waiting for US supercross -13 to start. He beat Rozen/everybody in ADAC most of times as junior but Roz got a fat Suzicontract and Filip ended up with nothing because they couldn't afford any contract Llongostyle/ Gp teams at that time. The rest is history. Fredrik was doing good results last season in AMA, but had a injury just before season started. His potential is skyhigh for sure. I don't think he is flying under the radar anymore. I heard a bird whispering that US market is still on their knees, so you must bring sponsors or checks to US teams as well. The Swedes in Stefan Elvins Team pays bigtime for spots says another bird. Everybody want's to race in US. If they say something else is because they own team/race it/work to Llongo GPs and trying to make it mean something. Today there where 18 something in MX1 and 25 something in MX2. World championship? Muuuuaaahahahah!Laughing

The Swedes were my next door neighbors in the pits this weekend. They were pitted out of a big U-Haul, because they'd had problems with their rig just before Butte, Montana. They unloaded everything they needed and packed it into the truck to finish the drive.

Here's one of Fredrik.

Heres a picture of Fredrik in the off season, I bet there isn't to many riders finishing in the top 10 of a AMA National having to do this to earn a bit of money!!!

He was Swedish champion in 2010 and then headed to the US with another Swedish rider called Calle Aspegren riding for the MX Heaven team. This year Calle couldn't get a work ( sports ) visa and went down under to race.

Fredrik broke his wrist just before the Nationals started this year and is just coming back. He is joined by Rickard Sandberg another Swede this year but I don't think he has made the cut for the main races yet this year, but un like Fredrik he has had a coulpe seasons doing Gp's.

Robert Lind also a Swede is on the team.

Thanks Guy. It's always cool to hear the guys who do whatever it takes to make it to these races. It's hard enough having to make it to each round in a nice rig but some of the guys who run out of the back of vans and box trucks prove their hearts for the sport.

It was a good ride, and good job by the TV crew to catch the action. That was some of the best TV coverage I've seen of moto in a long time! Awesome to see him blow by Friese and leave him.

Great ride in the 1:st heat in Lake Elsinore. Too bad he overjumped the finishjump in 2:nd moto and had to turn in the towel due to pain in his wrist.

I hope he can ride all races next year and not miss half the season due to injury like this year.

Below pictures from 2010 when Fredrik won the swedish title in MX2

Sounds like a person to root for. I noticed his name before but didn't know much about him. The UHaul story tells just how bad they want to race. Kudos to him and the team.

i grew up racing with him here in sweden, all i can say is that nobody deserves it more than him, great guy, great family. Working his ass off just to get the money to be able to race.

This man has style for days. Can't wait to see how this swede will be doing next year if he is still racing AMA. If he does, and can stay injury free, he has a bright future!

Hopefully he can find a good team next year. He got speed for sure. Would be mega with a swede in any serie today. A whispering bird says Mx-heaven is history. New name is bank-heaven. So be careful with sending money to that place? Check it out first? Don't get fu....d like some other riders in that team? Be careful out there......
