Just finished watching Steel City ... Dungey is a Machine and has been a Machine all season. In fact, he has been a Machine his entire career. He does what he does no matter what and has always done so. Needless to say, I am a big fan.

Finishing 3 years of 450 mx:
23 wins in 35 races.
2 mx championships, 1 2nd place (a couple ounces of fuel from 3 straight championships).
Already 3rd in all time mx wins.

Yeah, machine seems to fit.

And it's "you're."

Where was the # 1 plate, doesn't clinching the title mean he runs the 1 ?

Villopoto still owns the #1 plate until after Elsinore. Dungey gets it come Hangtown 2013.

Damn, why cant ppl on this site just give respect when respect is earned.

Stewart is my guy but the Dunge is on it. He is doing what he needs to do to win championships. Who cares who he is racing against. If all the other guys were so dominant, they wouldnt be hurt now would they? A championship is a championship no matter who is in the field. And last time i checked..... you have to show up to the races to be a championship. Haters.... way to show your ignorance. I bet you would be beating Alessi too...

Looks like Carlos got a call up to the big leagues. I'd say he's making quite a bit more bonus $$$ working for Dungey then he did working for Milsaps

There's a difference between showing someone respect and blowing them. Dungey is the man right now, but when you leave any one of the Big 5 in that class by themselves of course they are going to dominate. Congrats to him on the championship, but what he is doing is just standard in the current situation. He and KTM don't deserve all the blowjobs they've been getting the past week.

I have never been a big fan of Dungey but, he is beating everyone's ass this year (both on and off the track) simply because he goes just as fast as he needs to. The same reason he doesn't get the credit he deserves. RV, Reedy, and Stewie all are not racing for one reason, they tried to go faster than they could...it is the simple.

Even when the rest of the guys are in he stays the course and rides within his limits. You have to admit, it had paid off for him. That has to be difficult to set the ego aside and just ride. Instead going all in for the win.

Count the amount of title Dungey has won since 2009. He has won more big bike titles quicker than RV or Stewart, and he won the SX title in his first season. Only MC has ever done that.

He is the man to beat in the US.

THEY WON THE AMA MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP. Who gives a fuck who his competition consisted of? HE WON. Last i recall if your sitting on the couch watching the races because your hurt, you have ZERO chances of winning the championship. They deserve all the respect, credit, and "blowjobs" they are getting. They won on a BRAND NEW bike that was a KTM OF ALL BIKES. Its not his fault the competition cant see the bigger picture and keep it on 2 wheels. It doesnt matter if he won with 1 guy on his ass or 10 guys on his ass. In the end its still goes in the record books as a CHAMPIONSHIP WON. And this is coming from a Stewart fan. You will never get it because your a damn hater cuz ur guy is on the couch jacking off instead of on the podium getting a "blowjob".

Haters just dont understand how they make themselves look in these situations. Just congratulate the man who won the AMA MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP and go home and cry in a corner. If you dont think winning the championship infront of 39 other PRO MOTOCROSS RACERS is a huge accomplishment... Your not a MX fan your just a troll.

To most fans on this forum, it's more impressive for a rider to show that blazing speed, wad up, and let them talk about how much they'd be winning by if they weren't injured. I guess that's why Dungey isn't impressive and doesn't get much credit on this forum.

Don't you have to be in it to win it? what are your thoughts on 2010 when RD5 won? how bout 2009 when CR22 won, or 2008 when JS7 won, or 2007 when Grant Langston won? Besides 2011, should none of those guys get mad respect for winning championships because not everyone was there???

MX Champion

RD5, 2012
RV2, 2011 (CR22 and RD5 in it)
RD5, 2010
CR22, 2009
JS7, 2008
Grant Langston, 2007

I posted this in the other thread, I'll post it again;

"RD5 is this generations Jeff Stanton. He's always fast and always in contention to win races and championships. He's not a flashy or outspoken showman but rather a journeyman who laces up his boots and quietly works hard at what he's paid to do. He's every companies dream employee and because of that he'll most likely never get the recognition from the masses that he deserves."
