Jordon is the most underrated youth rider in the states.

I doubt that will be the case in Europe after this weekend.

Balkovic had a mechanical and Smith got caught in some trackside netting. Shitty luck for both of them but they've got another moto to make up for it.

Jarek Balkovic's Yamaha (top) died on the hill.... Jordon Smith (bottom) took a minor off-track excursion and got caught up in the ski-netting....

Even though the results sucked, both kids rode well.

In the timed practice, Jarek and Jordan threw down some top lap times in the beginning. Jordan came in with a front brake issue then went out and put down one towards the end that was faster. We had been holding the board for ones through fives for Jarek and thought we were good, then the times at the end dropped like a rock. jordon timed third and Jarek twelfth.
..
The track was good in the first moto. Jordon got really tangled in track banners. What was cool was he cheered Jarek on from the side of the track for about eight laps.

We .had a loaner bike and some European fuel stupidity issues and our bike was problematic. I replaced the piston after thirty minutes of time practice and the entire top was detonated. It was jetted really rich but I was afraid that if I went any leaner it would blow. Jarek got a twenty something start and had worked his way to fifth with around three laps to go. The bike locked tight about fifty feet above jordan. Jordan and Jarek both put down good lap times but that doesn't mean much at the end. Both rode well but had bad luck.

We swapped out a motor with a worse one and both kids went out for the second moto. The track was dangerous and just plain awful. At the start, I stood there looking at the first turn for about a minute waiting for the dust to settle to see if either of the kids were one of several on the ground. The track was dry hard pack and the dust was dangerously bad. It was pointless for either to get hurt in Bulgaria so I believe they both rode smart. The track was really bad in the last moto.

All in all, both kids had a good time. They are at dinner now

It is not easy to race in europe and especially Bulgaria. There was no factory support and no vendors, so if you don't have it forget it. For us it was a learning experience and fun. Yes we wanted better results but I am not in at a Bulgarian prison or hospital so it could be worse.

The bonamigo team was great to us and we would have been lost without them.

Dust? Where? lol.... this was in the 2nd 85cc moto... didn't take any pics in the second 125 moto but got some video, dangerous stuff for sure. Hope you guys had a good time otherwise, even if the result wasn't what you were after
