Green Day have just confirmed a surprise slot at Reading Festival this saturday here in the UK... and have announced they will be playing Dookie in full!

Just about to get myself a day ticket.

Green Day was the first concert I ever went too. It was fall 95' so it would have been the album after Dookie? It was in a small venue (only about 6,000 capacity) in West Palm Beach. 21 years old on the floor, front row being pushed by 5,999 people up against the railing. Sweating my ass off having a blast. I was hooked on concerts after that. We had a hook up from Ticketmaster and got front row seats to pretty much everything we went too.

Saw Offspring not to long after in another smaller venue in Ft. Lauderdale and I can honestly say I don't think I've ever sweat as much as I did at that concert. You could wring the sweat out of my shirt afterwards.

PS/Edit: Besides Metallica, I would be pretty pissed to have to sit through that line up or festival just to see APC, it blows.
Yeah my vision kind of went blurry on the rest of the lineup when i noticed APC there, nothing else mattered, i had to click "purchase"!

O'spring are my favorite B, but I haven't felt much pumping action since Americana. The production on their new stuff makes it feel pretty toothless. Eh, they're 40-y.o. dudes. Whatcha gonna do.
