Must be a tough market. There is an 06 RM 250 in CA with A kit suspension for $3800

It must be difficult to sell a 250f / grenade, unless you sell it to a dumbass.

Look at the rear fender(snow shovel), that thing is twisted like a pretzel, the sub frame has got to be just as bad. If thats a new chain/sprocket, then I'm beating RV for the SX title next year. If I'm the owner of Tech Care suspension, I'm calling this guy and telling him to remove my business name from his ad, I'd have a restraining order on this bike, fuckin thing can't come within 500 ft of my business or name. If he gets $3500 for that pile, Id make him the National Sales Mgr of Suzuki right there on the spot.

I like the custom bend sub frame. Lol, his new chain looks like it hasn't been adjusted since about 05. Lol. Classic.

that bike is clapped out... that bike and many like it get list daily at prices that dont reflect there value.. that bike will sell down the road for maybe $2500 if that.. the only bike in it's class that holds its value are the alum frame yz250.. I lmao off when they get listed at those prices because i see them week after week being relisted then the price drops to 3 grand then $2500, there value is what the market will bear and people dont have that kind of money to throw at something that will probably need a rod, pistion and maybe a cylinder... i see bikes here in St George utah and Las vegas get listed like that all the time and they stay listed for weeks until the seller figures it out.. theres an 06 Rm450 on criags list listed at $1800 right now, it started at $4500.. I'll tell you this i buy 125's all the time with blown rods and pistons for between $250 to $400 and sell them for $1000 to $1500 within a day or two of posting.. bikes sell for what people are willing to pay and with the currant economy a bike like that rm 250 will not sell for the price listed...

It does say the new chain and sprockets are part of the extras.

Bingo.

People are buying old used 2 strokes like they're going out of style, but who in their right mind is going to be buying an old used 250f.

...AND that a Bald Eagle would shit a golden egg before a 6 year old 250f would sell for what it was bought at 6 years prior.

Actually, I've been looking at a pretty damn cherry '01 YZ250F. It keeps getting cheaper and I'd like to have it for a parts bike for my beater 01 model. The only thing holding me back is the fact that, well it is a 250F.Laughing

Same place as you newmann. I own a 04 KX250f. It has now turned in to a parts bike for my 05 KX250 but I want to rebuild it. Never had a problem with it except the 3 heads I destroyed on it.

I have a KX 450 for Moto, but I just picked up a 2007 KTM 300 for Hare Scrambles (7 out of 10) for $2000. It's a sweet bike.
I only took 15 minutes to get all the plastic and rear subframe off. I'd forgotten how bare a bike looks when you don't have a big honken Aluminum perimeter frame covering the engine
