Seriously, Dave is one angry dude. I put him in the "musical genius" category, but he definitely has issues with the US of A. I saw Megadeth with Slayer and Anthrax not too long ago, then got to see them again at the Hard Rock in Biloxi. Such a treat to see a band like that in such a small venue. At both shows his crowd interaction was virtually non-existent. If he is only doing his bitching on foreign soil, that's kind of a pussy approach. Geoff Tate is another who seems to get angrier as he ages. I much preferred when Mustaine went at the govt. head on - Megadeth's song "Hook in Mouth" that took on Tipper Gore and the PMRC is one of my all time favorite songs.

His biography is a good read. He gives a lot of insight into the early part of his career. He did a lot of hard drugs for a long time so i get why he says crazy stuff like that. As far as his anger goes you know I think he never got over or was able to accept getting kicked out of Metallica. I think that and the long term drug use messed his psyche up pretty bad.

Seemed pretty much on the money to me. The Dixie Chicks were right too. Not sure if obama had anything to do with it, but the connection to military mind control operations with these recent shooting is an interesting coincidence.

YZthumpa--I saw that Slayer/Megadeth show too, here in KC. I was really broke at the time and I had a fifty hidden in the house for a rainy day. I almost didn't go, but then I though that if the 16 year old me knew that the 31 year old me was not gonna go see Slayer play Seasons in the Abyss in its entirety, He would have kicked the shit out of me. So I went and it was Amazing. Slayer killed is for one of my favorite albums. Oh yeah, Megadeth was ok too.

Unrelated to your post: I don't know why Americans get all butt-hurt when someone calls out our country. We've done some pretty screwed up shit, and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. Moving to another country is a viable option.
