Imagine the PR.... Vince Friese will not be racing this weekend due to blurry vision and difficulty breathing through his broken nose.. This is a result of a misunderstanding between "insert rider" over a blatant take out from Friese this past weekend.. Although there was many people present the police were unable to locate any witnesses.. If you have any info contact the local PD at xxx-xxx-xxxx.. Friese plans on being back on the bike as soon as his damaged ego heals.
Regardless of him buying his ride does anyone think Genova likes the press he gets on Friese?? Even if he's a hazardous back marker he draws attention to the MC team.. You no what they say,, any press is good press..

Glad to hear you chime in and steps are being taken.
Not judging the actions because I know you can't jump in and ban the guy as his first punishment. Unfortunately I think it's going to take more than a fine to correct his actions though. I don't even know that a 2 race suspension would slow him down much.
While it is nice to know that the Race Officials have fined VF ( $500), and are keeping an eye on him, it does appear that more needs to be done.
A mere $500 fine to the MotoConcepts team has as much meaning as breaking one of VF's boot buckles. Whereas to a guy like Peick, that same fine is like making him ride without handle bars.
VF has been playing this "game" with all of the riders on the track, with more in particular than others. He has broken fan's jaws, etc. He should have been fined on, at the very least, a sliding scale. This guy is a menace to all riders.
The next time your Race Officials' "eyes" see him take out another racer , they should suspend him from racing. Period. End Done.
You are going a bit over the top with that pic, aren't you? Kind of like VF himself does.
I am just saying that VF should be suspended. One race!!! He needs to get what he gives out. I am not advocating for suspending him a year or taking away his license. A $500 fine does NOTHING to prevent him from taking out riders again.

My guess is that the next fine would be more than $500. And the one after that would be more (or of a more severe variety) than the previous one. As one official told me, fines are usually meant to get a rider's attention, and get the behavior to change. If money doesn't do it, then they'll find something that does.
Whe I wrote Period End. Done I meant end of story. Just suspend him for a race. Do something bigger other than $$$$. Do something to him that means something to him.
