Has anyone found or had their yz remapped? I put on
an exhaust and I feel like there's a huge gap between 2nd and third. I went up a tooth to.

I had my 2011 re mapped a couple weeks ago. I found the results to be better than most pipes I have put on my bike. Get a Yamaha power tuner, or find someone that has one and talk to them. There are a bunch of re maps available on line for free.

Did you feel like there was a big gap in power between 2 and 3 gear ? And if so do the tuner help?

I wouldnt say it was bug gap but I noticed that after the re map I could carry third easily through corners that I couldnt before. But ya, the tuner helped a lot in getting the power more like I wanted it.

so, what are you using if you don't mind telling? or PM me if you don't want everyone to know, we're quite aways apart so I won't tell. just bought a 450 for my son and he's getting used to it but I haven't found a setting he likes yet. he complained about it hitting to hard off bottom, I have tried a few of the settings you can get from Yamaha but he hasn't found one he really likes yet.

Good luck. I just can't believe that people have to go through this to tune a bike these days. It seems like you need to be an expert in IT technology, have a computer, buy a tuning device, and be able to understand how to use it all, just to tune your bike. I have a box with jets and needles, and a little time on a Sunday afternoon, and I'm running great.

i bought the gytr power tuner from my dealer it was a waset realy bc i could have just borrowed one and but i put in the "less hit" map. def felt a big difference tho i only weighed 145 and im 5'7 so that helped i think i stil have the parameter settings if you want them. it was really simple to do took maybe 2 min. i have since sold the part and bike. im convinced that bike was the reason i shatterd my collarbone last year. not to mention those stupid leatts. good luck lmk if u want the fuel settings.

well, don't feel like the lone ranger, I think it just sends you an email to the email account you used when you signed up here. it should have something about 450 in the subject line and it will be from Keith Boyd. or you may check your profile, it was changed a while back and I'm not exactly how it works now either. if you still have them and are willing just email them to kkboyd1@psbnewton.com. thanks
