Not a single word, rumor, page or thread exists about this "game" on the entire interwebz except for this thread and the one on Supercross.com. No pictures, screenshots, videos, yet the game is practically "ready" for beta soon. Nothing about the independent Publishing company he named, the e-mails he gave were invalid, and the PR never came to surface when he said it would.
Jeremy is doing everything he can to keep the hope alive in this thread. Why would he bother to do that if a PR was actually on its way?

Jeremy - Again free advice, you seem like you are in over your head in this. Maybe the cat got out of the bag a little early, I don't know. If your game is going to have any shred of breaking even, not knowing your overhead but knowing the sales data of every offroad racing game, the best thing you can do is bite the bullet, come clean. Whether it is hey guys we weren't expecting this kind of response, we tried but we are pushing the release of any info until such and such a date or hey guys sorry but the stuff didn't come through. Most here are probably used to me spinning a few things during MX vs ATV.
I'll give you an example:

What you should have said: "Wow you guys are really amped on this. Sorry for not getting things up when I thought I could. Sometimes things happen like this and myself and my partners are working to make our release the best it can be. Again, sorry for the delay, I'll take the heat but hang tight."
While this is a major flub, seriously, you are demonizing your very fans. In order for this to have any success your going to have to be able to take the hits. You may think what you have is great and I hope it is but many will not be pleased no matter how good it is. Again knowing the numbers, assuming you have zero actual PR and Marketing behind this, I hope yourself and the people you employ will be ok after this release. Hopefully you have the capital for this experiment.
I'll ask one last question that will probably be ignored, what is the window we can expect gaming media previews of the title?

I did some digging around and this guy doesn't have a website, those emails are fake, at the beginning of the story he claims he got Toyota on board cause of his "hot shit" brother selling so many Toyotas. Which a corporation like that I don't see getting into a no name development company just because some guys brother sells "lots" of Toyotas. Then on page 14 he says" My brother works in he promotions department for Toyota he doesn't sell cars in a dealership." This guy has trolled very hard as mentioned by Rewindcaz. He won't answer questions from an actual game developer who made him self visible in this thread, has no proof, no evidence, no real development name, etc. Until us doubters are proven wrong I call BS on all of this. This thread needs dumped so the day can move on to things that actually matter.

Okay, some guys weren't pumped on Alive. But, prior to the games release the team came here with a plan, they had exact details, a website with a countdown clock to the day the website would launch. They took criticism, and welcomed praise also.
Whereas, Toyota Motocross 2013 has come here, with one guy, fake emails, no proof and abuse towards the forum as a whole. Which, I would argue is the busiest Motocross forum in the world - and one of the places they surely would need to get on side. As the THQ guys understood.
Now, as i've said I want nothing more than for this to be true. But, when looking at the facts, it's not the best basis for the "MX game we've all been wanting", is it...

Worse case scenario for him as he had alot of explaining to do to not only he once friends but his own family. I had never heard of anything or seen anything like that before. But it did happen, on theganggreen.com. His username was the Green Hornet. So now when anything is not believed, all a user has to say is "I'm calling hornet" on that one and away it goes......
I hope this isn't the case, but some people just need attention and do strange things like this thread. Take it as entertainment, nothing more.
BTW the forum had a trashtalking section that was 20x worse than anything I have seen on here. That is where he got called out.

Sorry to anyone that that applies to.
Think about this if 500,000 copies sold, which is do-able a small company with a small publisher could make decent money and work on future games. One thing that would definitely hurt though would be getting a game engine...I looked into the cry engine myself, they are hard to get and also very expensive if you even get it. Others are pretty expensive as well. Plus they get a % of profit.
