Night two was action packed as well.

Ross Martin came back from his misfortune on Wed night to take home BOTH Pro main event wins!
This guy is no joke on a bike and I realize that many of you West/East coasters may have never even heard of him.
He grew up racing dist 16 and 17 in Wisc/Illinois then found snowmobiles along the way. He is now on the Factory Polaris snowcross team and is one of few in the world that can/have beaten Tucker Hibbert on a regular basis. He only races moto in the summer at local fair and money races such as Mendota, Lake County and others. To this day, he has naver raced a Supercross, Arenacross or a National and I keep telling him, "let's do some!"

Willy Browning was going for the ironman once again after winning 3 out of 4 on Wednesday and we think it came back to bite him. His hand came of the bars in the whoops in the 250 main and he plowed right into Kevin Markwardt and then the ground. He was ko'ed for around 2 minutes and I was with him the entire time. He was done for the night and packed up and drove back to Ohio with his wingman.
**just talked to him a little bit ago and he says he is going to call Doc Bodnar about getting advise on a cat scan or what he should do** , and says that he is sore but everything else is ok. - good news.
The crash was insane and scared the hell out of me.

Iowa's Kurt McCabe finished second in both finals and was the only rider to finish on the podium in all four mains.

Local star Kody Kamm crashed hard in practice and sat out the night, but I saw him around 9pm near his rig eating ice cream and had a huge smile on his face as he was hanging with two hot little blondies.

Tommy Hofmaster decided not to ride and loaned Daniel Blair his 450. DB125 did better night 2 and made the trip from Cali worthwhile.

Great to see Jayme Dalsing from Feld come out to support the event and also the Race Tech crew and their support vehicle. Also saw people from Yamaha, Parts Unlimited, tons of local dealers and the man that keeps sponsoring the event year after year, Ted Nielsen.

Over the two nights, we raised $670 for local rider Matty Hopkins who was seriously injured a few months back.
Thanks to everyone for their support.

I announce and promote and do reports like these for several fair races, if you need a guy to do this stuff at an upcoming race or event, hit me up.

Nice write up Dave.

This event is truly awesome, the action is always good. I hope the fair was happy with the event again and it can continue. The track looked like a lot of fun, safe; yet challenging.

Martin was definitely on a mission and riding well. Obviously excited to see the Race Tech guys go 1-2 in both mains.

Noticed a lot of 2 strokes over our time spent in Illinois, so I was hoping for a better turnout in the 125 class.

Hopefully Willy B. gets all healed up. Can't believe Markwardt stayed upright in that ordeal.

Hey Dave, seems like you know Ross Martin pretty well. Was wondering if he raced at Grantsburg WI on a TM125 back some time ago. Memory is really fuzzy haha!

I can say with almost 100% certainty that Ross never raced a TM. Grew up racing with him for years.

I stand corrected, he said he did Millville, Troy and Red Bud a while back.
Either way, my point is, he doesn't race moto professionally on any of the tours and he is extremly talented.
