RV isn't going anywhere- his program is too solid to mess with it.
RV is on the best bike out there. Period
Canard, while I love the guy has a bad case of Hepler/Reynard syndrome and needs to join Erin Bates in the pits as a pit reporter. He would rock! I hate seeing him always hurt.
Deano will be at team 22 next year where he will suprise everyone as Hondas top rider
RV will destroy the competition next year indoors and out.
JS was looking damn good on that Suzuki and will be the only one to match RV in the speed dept.

To recap: JS7 can go fast, RV2 will be in a league of his own and Deano beats the boss. Erin and TC41 will be in the pits - Erin interviewing CP trying to carry RV's left nut to the top step of the podium while TC41 gives RV2 some fellow red headed munchkin love during his victory speach. There you have everything you need to know about 2013 and beyond Wink
Who would bring more to Two Two Motorsports if Villo and Deano are both out at Kawi and both are rumored to be going Honda?

Jeff Ward rode his whole career with Kawasaki. Both Kiedowski & Larroco won titles for them and stayed on the team for many years.

I think Kawi is just playing a negotiating tactic. If you start getting into a bidding war this early into it, the price just escalates much faster than if you slow play it. I don't know anything about what's going on but if you show all your cards early in a negotiation, it makes it tough to finish as strong as you started.

If you guys don't think a top rider wont leave/be dropped by a top team while in the middle of a winning career then you haven't been paying attention to the sport for the last, oh lets say 40 years. Many many names come to mind that have left teams with very successful programs.

Ain't a rumour anymore, the Honda glory days of yesteryear (Bailey, Oshow, RJ) are soon to be coming to a track near you. If you sit back and look at the riders representing the manufacturers its almost like its preordained amongst themselves!! Allright Hondas been on the back burner now for awhile so now its their turn, just saying been hearing it from too many people, RV and Barcia in 13, whos gonna be third??

So teams are going to throw huge amounts of money to a guy who has finished 1 full season in the past four years? Yes he is fast, but how many more years does he have?

This thread had a good run.....but if what Chad says is true.....looks like it was just a rumor. He did talk to a few different teams......so maybe it wasn't a rumor.....but it sounds like he resigned.

If RV was to leave Kawi I would love to see him land on Reeds team. That would be bad ass!!! But man, I would hate to see him on anything other than that green machine!

Maybe 22 pulls a Motoconcepts and has different manufacturers under 1 tent.........I know it won't happen so don't bust my balls too hard Smile

full factory Honda's...........Goose.............WMG agents...........Reed's results b4 he got hurt...............more freedom do do what he wants probably................

hard decision I'd say for RV............really doubt at this level, TOP guys in the sport.........either Kaw or Honda would put up with giving "works" style bikes to a "underdog" style team, as MCR call themselves, that do what they want.................

Reed also confirmed that he is hoping to sign Ryan Villopoto for the 2013 Supercross and Motocross seasons.

"Ryan's contract is up and we're talking to him," Reed said. "We really want to try and make it happen. He's a great kid and we've been teammate before.
