Yamaha336, what are the real stats for SX this year? I have been to a few and their attendance is noticeably down. Compared to years past, I have never had such an easy time walking around. No way they are selling out. If they are, it's due to creative accounting. Maybe the AMA is buying up the extra tickets to say it is a sellout (if they are saying that).

They only plan on filling 1/4 of the stadium so if its 1/4 + its sold out.

I love it when they say there sold out and you see nothing but empty seats during the main. lol

Exactly......half the seats at a supercross are filled with the same people that go to see monster trucks and flaming rocket cars. For the most part only core fans walk the hills of an mx race.

They arent selling out, not even close. Yamanoob is an idiot and pulls stats out his ass. Ive been going to Supercross races since 1977 and the past few years at Reliant Stadium there were LOTS of empty seats.

Maybe that is because Houston is a shit hole city. I know the East Coast rounds are always full. Along with the Anaheim rounds.

At first I was excited about JS's SX only title but now I realize how sad it really is. MOTO will no longer be the home of the best motorcycle racers.

It breaks my heart to think that Millville will be the last time that I watch the magic that James Stewart does on a motocross track. I do not attend SX events. No interest.

The fan base of this sport has more say (via ticket , bike, and merchandise sales) than we get credit for. Maybe its time we vote with our wallets.

I do not feel any SX only rider should represent the USA in the MXoN.

Has there been any official anouncement from the Stewart camp that this is his last (and only) MX title?

Maybe its time for a 20yr and older pro rule to eliminate the premier riders from burning out on the sport at age 23--26.

even so, you're still a liar

I went to all 3 Anaheims this year and they were NOT sell-outs no matter who says they were.

Im not the one with liar in my screen name. That would be you. You might think you are funny or cool or whatever, but I have about 15 messages in my inbox from people stating what an asshole loser you are. I dont give a rats ass what you say or believe. I dont owe you anything. So, you go ahead and post or say whatever you want. 80% of your posts are smarting off to someone or calling someone a noob. How about saying something with ACTUAL SUBSTANCE instead of living and speaking in your kindergarten ways!!

So, what name are you using today, Liar336?

Jay?

Rob?

Again, your pitiful existance here is noted by everyone. Never do you post anything with substance. You do nothing but name call and demean people. I guess you were picked on a lot in school. That can only explain your miserable existence here.

He also claimed to have one name and when asked about that name he gave, like two months ago, he claimed it is a different name today, so he THEN went back and edited the original post with the first name he claimed to have and the editing time stamp PROVED he went back to change the name to his new claimed name

(that make sense?)

As soon as I heard the announcement/rumor I got sick...but that was the fan in me. The realist in me says he can and will do whatever he wants to do and for whatever reason. I don’t know the specific reason but I can say that I’ve seen some of these guys in street clothes and some of them have a hard time walking without a limp, even the young guys. If its not for health, I can only hope that he will do mx for a few more years and will only go sx only when the time comes.
