I thought Barcia and Wilson were moving up and Tomac, Roczen and Bagget were staying on 250's. Could be wrong though.

This is Tomac's 3rd outdoor season. He going for a 4th? Not that I have a problem with it. This concept of sand-bagging in a pro class is retarded

Wilson still has another year option if he wants it in the 250 class with Mitch and Mitch does want him to stay. IMO with how stacked the 450 class is and the limited availability of big bike rides (which includes openings on teams for a premier rider) he should stay down one more year and nab another title. Unless he gets an amazing offer from one of the big 5 I think it would be best for him to stay with Mitch, get a raise and wait till 2014t to move up. Moving up to the big bike class is a major jump that can make or break a riders career if they aren't ready or have a tough time getting used to the big bike. This is just my opinion of course and dean can do whatever he wants, but if he wants to be a premier rider on a team and command the salary of a premier rider, those rides are very slim pickens this year with all the 2yr deals locked up last year, he would have a better chance getting all he wants if he waited until '14

How is racing the 250 class OUTDOORS sand-bagging? The 250 class outdoors is a NATIONAL Championship. It's not like the Supercross 250 class that is REGIONAL where a rider can point out.

It looks like Chris is saying Tomac will be sand-bagging if he races the 250 class next year.
It's not like Tomac is dominating the class this year.

I read it as just the opposite. I think he is saying that there is no such thing as sand bagging in the pro class.

250 isn't a feeder class. Technically even when it was the 125 class it wasn't due to the amount of $$$ companies spent to one up one another on HP, spend big $$ to secure proven overseas champions and even drop seasoned vets back down to battle teenagers.. Like said above its a national championship that has major time @ $$ invested to hold that #1 plate..

If Tomac should move up then why shouldn't Baggett?? Next year will be his fourth season in the 250 class also, and I believe he rode supercross his rookie year as Tomac didn't

You cant point out of the 250 class outdoors.

You can never be a sandbagger in the 250 class outside. Especially right now where its harder to get a podium than the 450 class.

Baggett only rode 2-3 races after LL's in 2009. Rode for Rockstar Suzuki in 2010 (only rode the rsaces up to Budd's Creek before getting injjured and missing the rest of the season), rode for PC in 2011-2012.

As for the idea of sandbagging, you cant in professional racing as the rules are set up as such.

Point in fact: last year when Barcia went "down" to the 450 class he kicked ass!

I know I'm out of topic but ...

Is Baggett° and Pastrana, if they want, can become big waves' surfer? i always thinking that if Laird Hamilton takes Pastrana with him for three or six month TP will drop into some crazy huge waves ...

but if you don't care about surfing, sorry again Smile
