No it makes perfect sense. Some countries will allow you to become another countries citizen and still keep all your rights as a citizen in your home country. The U.S.A does not. For example if I wanted to become a Canadian citizen and I am already a united states citizen I will lose my rights as an American citizen if I become a Canadian citizen. I live right by the border and my friend just married a Canadian citizen. He can have permanent residence there and still be an American citizen, but he can't become a citizen if he wants to keep his American citizenship. I'm not saying its right just the way it is.
Makes sense to me.

I would be highly surprised if Reed were to ride the MXdN for the USA - It's not like they need him anyway.

Casey moved from the gold coast area to live in Kurri so he had a better competion base. Chad has a lot of investmentsn in the states so maybe its a tax thing, his dad told me last year he would never live in Australia again only holiday each year.

Don't take it the wrong way. I love you Australians and this isn't meant to bash on Australia. But if you can manage to take off your Aussie colored glasses long enough to look at this objectively you'd see I'm making a fair point. I'm as patriotic as the next guy and it would be hard for me to accept if the shoe was on the other foot, but the fact is that Chad got to where he is today due, in large part, to the opportunities provided to him in the US.

I'm sure 35 years ago the Belgians were all screaming "Roger DeCoster will never manage Team USA in the MXDN!!!"

And I have never given Chad a hard time. I have liked him ever since he took it straight to McGrath at Bercy.
