Live
is always better.
I will never complain about live.
Happy to hear that fuel is getting good ratings as well they should. Moto is a great product.

NetMXer, if the Super Bowl were actually two games going on at once, like we have with 250 and 450 classes, it might be on different channels. God knows the conference playoffs are when it's NFC (Fox) and AFC (CBS).

Having to switch channels is not perfect, I know, but it's better than nothing, and it's the only motocross racing on U.S. television right now. I am sure the GP package is great if you live in Europe, but it's not on TV here in the states (though I did pay my $94 fee to get the full streaming package on my computer).

We are working on getting more and more live (and free) coverage. The FMF High Point National had the second (edit, my bad) highest-rated live TV show Fuel has ever aired, and they are big into UFC and all -- and those same two motos streamed live (and free) on Allisports.com to boot. The networks are taking notice of what we are doing, and they really appreciate the fan support Lucas Oil Motocross is getting from the audience.

For what it's worth, when I watch sports at home, I change channels every five minutes to see other games and scores. Not sure why doing it three times in four hours to watch all four motos of an outdoor national is such a pain for some, but we are trying, and it's working...

Davey....some of these guys are saying I was acting like a cry baby but I wasn't trying to come off that way....even if I did. It is a little confusing as to which channel the races were going to be shown on , but I found 3 out of 4 of them on my own......just couldn't find the 4th one. About 3 posts in a guy came in and told me it was actually being shown on the prime channel of NBC......should of been end of thread I guess.

Sorry if I came of as a whiner....didn't mean to. Just wanted to watch my motos is all. Thanks for all your hard work you have put into the sport.......and if it ends up being on 4 completely separate channels....I don't care....as long as I get to watch it. Just wasn't sure on the time and channel is all. Thanks again for all your hard work.

You mean there's still a second moto to these things?

The online broadcast ends after the first moto for us here in Canada.

Honestly, the frustration of trying to find a link to watch the second motos has been enough to cause me to lose interest in watching them at all. If all I needed to do was change a channel (or pay to watch) I'd be happy.

Why make time to watch the first half of a race? It pointless.

Now that would be down right frustrating... I just scrolled thru my DVR online and setup my recording for NBC for the first 450 moto. I already had the Fuel and NBCSC setup and ready to go. I would have been ticked if I hadn't kept up with that. Also, the 250s are racing first this weekend. Should be some good racing come the 2nd 450 moto at the end of the day. I'm also guessing the WMX is not racing this weekend either since their is no time between any of the motos.

Jeffro, no big deal; Canada, what can I tell you? We can't stream all four motos live or we won't have a TV deal. Sorry. The shows are archived and posted a couple of days later on Allisports.com.

Anybody know if first moto's are still going to be live online on Ali?
Live 450/250 1st moto's every race all year. Not sure why few people if any ever mention this, I think it is great thanks to Allisports and Lucas. Another great move Allisports is doing this year is posting all 4 motos within in a few days, not just the 1st moto's like last year.

The only complaint I have about the coverage this year is the timing of the commercials. When it's on live and it's time for a commercial, why can't they do a split screen or pause the racing for a little bit so we can pick up where we left off? It's frustrating when they return to action and say these two riders have been battling while we were away.

i watched the allisports 2nd 250 moto yesterday....they missed like every major pass. thankfully they showed them before end of moto but i think they missed baggett going into second...and then they missed tomac passing barcia for second. like the biggest moves of the day outside of tomac going into the lead.

i'm not knocking it as commercials gotta pay the bills, but i thought the timing was kinda funny. at least it was a commercial and not 35th place rider they were focus'd on.
