I still think MC has/had the best riding style ever seen ! Still after 15 years his style looks modern. Soo precise ! There are some riders that have come near mc's style but they all made mistakes sometimes ! McGrarth almost never did mistakes in his prime

If you're going to talk about MC in Terrafirma 2 you have to show the opening segment at Castillo Ranch. Epic, even by todays standards.

speed bubbles. I had that helmet, actually was a crappy lid.

however, I still have a 95 CR250 and ride it occasionally. It might surprise some young guys how good those bikes were. about a year or so ago I put an 08 CRF fork and ohlins shock on it and it doesn't give that much away. actually turns better than most new bikes I've ridden.

Agree... I miss those days. Was awesome when the first videos were coming out. They were good cause they featured pro riders... IMO it went south when they started to be all FMX and ramps (not referring to MotoXXX or Crusty - those were awesome too).

This takes me back to being 12 years old. I used to watch this video, and especially this Castillo ranch part, nearly every day. That hill fence jump is still huge by today's standards, but back then ugh... You can't even put it into words - it blew my mind. MC has too much style.

This still gives me chills watching it.

The cool thing about these 90's vids is you can get the relaxed, just having fun vibe from them.

That would be cool to buy a 95/96 CR and throw some CRF forks on it.

Long live the King!

Got to spend some time with MC in 2003. He was just a normal guy, totally unpretentious. Not at all what I was expecting. He sat there and gave commentary on the race lik we were ol buds.

Memories I'll cherish forever! Thank you, TFS.

So raw. Gives me nostalgia like no other. I remember being a kid watching these all day long. Those were the glory days for sure!
