imagine being able to tap into the feed from the eye to the brain with a nano processor and upload what you see!!!! If one can think of it ....it will come to pass...........

Just... WOW!

I have a GoPro! But the thing that's most noticeable with GoPro, all the videos they put out MAKE you want one!
The future soon is looking really really cool.

Thanks for posting that up OC.

So will the TV broadcasts have live gopro feeds now during the motos. Or how about a web feed where we can watch any riders gopro during the moto, kind of like how the in car stuff is for nascar... I hope some of this gets implemented quickly now that the wifi system is out!

An automated roll-off system seems way too obvious to me. I cant believe someone hasn't invented it yet.

Cool indeed. Can't wait to see how fast and how far it can transmit.

MXGP already has it on their live helmet cams they're just standard definition.

That's awesome! So you could set up a few go-pros around your track and film yourself riding as you came around? Not bad, not bad at all.

What I want them to make is a smaller camera that has everything but the lens in a separate box you can carry in your pocket, and a small lens to stick on top of your cycling helmet or even small enough to attach to your sunglasses. Heck, you could even use it to record your night's shenanigans at the bars so you actually remember what you did the next day.

Current go-pros are too big to attach to yourself unless in a situation that requires heavy protective equipment.

I think the issue has been weight more than function up to this point.

Here is the version that the GP's use, pretty trick stuff with roll-offs and it is really compact, but as stated above, not HD.

A typical wireless access point using 802.11b or 802.11g with a stock antenna might have a range of 32 m (120 ft) indoors and 95 m (300 ft) outdoors. IEEE 802.11n, however, can exceed that range by more than two times.

These are general ranges with out special antennas, etc.
