Moving away from the big issue...

I wonder if Tickle will move over to the Factory team? The PC bike has failed on him 2/6 moto's so far. He is obviously top 5 speed, and Rattray won't be back for a while, so I don't see why they shouldn't. Might as well put him on a bike that won't give him issues.

PC will get things figured out, it's their first year doing 450's. You know it's just as good as the factory bike, they might have to back it down a little for reliability is all.

No, he'll probably get injured like all the other riders out there ... Rather a broken bike then a broken rider!

serious: Well he really surprised me but I think he's too important for Mitch. Tickle is really testing the bike now so they won't have any "diseases" in the bike for next year ...

They won't have that bike next year though. This is a one off thing

I was impressed with his Moto 2 results but what I wasn't impressed with is how he ditched his bike and goggles on the side of the track when it quit on him in Moto 1. At least he went back and got it.... l I hate seeing riders get upset at the bikes and acting like spoiled brats when they break down. Man up!

I was impressed that he overcame his frustration with his bike that DNF'd 2 motos in a row and only walked a few feet from it before going back to push it to the pits.

Yeah I've seen worse no doubt but he ditches the bike on the track and expects the track worker to pick it up! He went back for it yeah but still it looked like he was gonna leave it for a few seconds. He did turn it around no doubt, it had to be motivation for Moto 2. A 3rd has to be his best finish on a 450?

Pardon my ignorance and sidelinig the thread, but is this a full fledged Mitch Payton PC 450 effort? If so, why now? Why Tickle (no disrespect intended)? Seems like year after it's been said that if he was gonna do a 450 deal for anyone, it would be rider X, yet it never materializes.

Yes it is a full on PC 450 ride for Tickle. Broc had a 2 year contract with PC for 2011-20i2 but after Tickle won the 2011 west SX title he was bumped out of the 250 SX class. Mitch was caught off guard by the advancement and even though PC has always been a 250 only team they honored the 2 year contract and put him on a 450 for SX and MX.

It only lasted for MAYBE two steps, then he turned around and went back to get it.

Perfectly understandble, and going back was honorable.

I liked him even more after watching it.

Most impressed with his ride, i did not think he had it in him.

Respect.

Broc told me last Thursday that he's not interested in riding the factory bike.

agreed, 2 DNF's would suck, especially since he's riding so well.

Glad to hear some TRUE insider knowledge. Hopefully you aren't fishing/sarcastic or I'd feel like a real dumb ass hahaha.

I don't think I'm one of those guys that drops some true items and some bunk stuff (other than maybe on April Fool's Day).

If I were to do that, people would never know whether I was fishing or not, and that's not what I'm all about.

By the rules he could have dropped back down to the 250 outdoors. He seems pretty big for one now compared to Tomac, Bagget, and Roczen.
