Dungey and Stewart are a shoe in. I'd be surprised if DeCoster hasn't had a word to Stewart about it already. He already talked to Dungey and Villopoto earlier in the year from what he said on the DMXS show.

The MX2 rider is still a little unclear. It's obviously between Baggett, Tomac and Barcia. I'm sure their performance on softer tracks will have a strong influence. Like, if Barcia were to come out at Southwick and put half a minute on the rest of the field both motos, how could you not pick him (even if he doesn't win the championship).

Being on the Team is important to James.

Remember how upset he was when he didn't make the Team when they announced at Unadilla during his "Return" race: that had a Huge impact on him.

Furthermore, it seems to me he has, yet, to "Conquer" the MXoN; so, you just know he wants to ELIMINATE ANY DOUBT in the minds of Moto-fans as to who the Fastest Factory Pilot is.

Period.

Belgium lost their No.1 Desalle,France lost their No.1 Frossard and Italy lost their No.2 Philipaerts last year,it's a shame we never seem to get all the top guys there at once but there you go

Yeah just asked the previous Mr. DeRuever (I know I hacked up his name) the former sand master. He commented that he had never been beaten like he had by Stewart at Southwick. I know it's not Lommel but fast riders are typically fast most places and like DC once said, they make sand in Florida too.

I do think this will be one of the harder ones to bring home but James is fast in the sand and Dungey, who I think is better than Poto in the sand, then add Barcia, who is also good in the sand. Looks like a fair team to me. I like our chances.

But hey anything can and does happen. I for one can't wait!!

I have a hard time accepting that you guys think dungey is just chasing james down in, reality james looks perfect and mistake free and seems to be riding at a lesser than normal blitzkrieg pace .... No disrespect to especially Dungey but to me James has MORE speed than he is showing I'd say he's riding at about 90-95% which shows almost zero mistakes. Seemed to me in all 4 motos this year James would pull a lead and MANAGE the race. Dungey would close in and James would wick it up and pull a second or 2 lead, back off till Dungey gets close and bam!..... Pulls away again. Some of you think Dungey has got James number but I really don't think so just yet, has Dungey made even one pass on James? No, he has lead James and James has passed him and taken off. What I see is a MUCH smarter racer in James .... He's not nor does he need to kill them by a minute and a half. Please make sure you all read this next phrase before you slam me: I have nothing but respect for Dungey AND good racing which we've been blessed with. But its clear as day to see Johnny 'O has made a dramatic effect on James and that's what I see, I see a guy going just fast enough to win the race and riding at that pace he is making zero mistakes while Dungey rides his ass off to pass James but cannot make it happen..... This is just what I see regardless of what James says on the podium about #5 giving him fits ..... He is controlling the race.

And let me remind you that James isn't getting one penny from Suzuki not salary or bonus money, the only income he is getting this year outdoors is from personal sponsors so he is out there to prove he still has it ..... It being the speed to beat some of the best, if the year keeps going like this with freestone one of Dungeys best tracks, I see a hint of 24-0 barring any 1st turn crashes that are bad enough like Tedesco's 1st turn pile up. I don't see James crashing out especially as perfect as he has been the first 4 motos. Hence I don't see him crashing out of anything nor injuring himself. Gotta admit I was surprised when he said that they haven't even pulled the suspension off since he started with Suzuki and THAT is saying something, looks like that Suzuki is working VERY VERY well for James

This years Des Nats has the potential to be one of the best ever, hopefully RV will be back and USA can send the big guns on form. Leirop is an amazing track and starting to become Cairoli's yard. He's going to want to win there.
