Actually, I think all he needs to work on are his starts...
Blake did this last year too and then had a so so season.... so it's difficult to know where he'll take this. If on the other hand he maintains that sort of form across 12 rounds then everyone's in trouble. He floated over the track today.
Barcia clearly improved over last year as predicted. Good first rider for Kenny and recovery in that 2nd moto. It's a seriously deep class.

IMO, I don't particularly care who wins as long as there is great racing. All the bashing you see from posters on this site is from fanboys. Just ignore it. It will help you the good stuff from the crap.
I have to say he looked knackered, maybe the heat.
I cant even begin to imagine how bad it is going to be around here tomorrow, all the Luvvahs will be coming out of hibernation. He rode one helluva race, that is for sure.
...and Bagget, damn if he can improve his consistency over last year, combined with the speed he showed today??? Dangerous!!
Im out, thanks again everyone, these race threads are practically the only civil real bench racing we have left around here.
Next week, same time, same bat channel
Anybody else notice how close the 250 / 450 times were. Bubba was running 2:06's with an occasional 2:04 on a cleaner track, Bagget was running 2:06's & the top guys were mostly in the 2:07's on a rougher track. I think the 450's are too much indoors, possibly outdoors too now. One thing for sure, I think watching the 250's is more exciting. The 450's are more grunting their way around the track, while 250's are having their neck rung.
A quick thought on Baggett, Wilson out may help him. Baggett doesn't seem like one to let other riders get in his head, but the inner-team squabling / rivalry was probably getting to him a bit last year. Could be a bit more focused, without that distraction now.
