While roaming the pits today I was told that you'll need to download Silverlight to be able to watch bonus footage online at www.allisports.com.

If you want an early start on the download, check here.

http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/default.aspx

Look for a full PR later.

Ok I updated to this silverlight deal, where can I go to see if it is working?

Maybe you do not have to install silverlight to watch the race but you do for the special features.

The Alli site has this note: "NOTE: You'll be able to watch the live stream from a mobile device or iPad, however it won't have the access to the Silverlight features, including the alt cam and the archived highlights."

Does the live feed actually start when qualifying starts or not till the first Moto starts?

If you are in Europe, we have finalized a deal with Fuel TV in Europe that will kick off this weekend. Countries include: Portugal, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, Liechtenstein, South Africa, Cape Verde, Croatia....

Still working on something for the UK.

Canada doesn't count.

HA!.....J/K man! Wish you guys had a live feed! As far as that goes....I wish we could even watch your nationals down here! I haven't seen one in a good few years.....because they don't show them down here. At least I hadn't seen where they were being shown.

Of course all I caught was the tail end of the WMX moto and now they are watering the track but cool nonetheless.

This is really bad! Last year I was always raving about the great vid quality. About 30 seconds into the moto it turned to a blury mess. Its been at the lowest quality setting of about 350 kbits/s since. Before the racing started it was streaming at full quality/ max speed. What happened?? I cant even watch this.

What's going on? Unable to download NBC live feed from Ali Sports! Just keeps saying an error occured whilst accessing your video!
5/19/2012 1:57pm
So requiring Silverlight guarantees that no one with a tablet or a smartphone can watch? That's disappointing.

Same deal for moto 2. 30 seconds in the quality turns to crap. It streams at full quality before and in between the races??
