I have been using the Spy Alloys for a few years and one thing that bugs me about them is that they seem to pinch my nostrils shut when I'm riding....making so I can't really breathe through my nose.

This past weekend a kid I know let me try a set of the Scott Hustle goggles.....and they fit my face and nose perfect! It has a wider nose area , but it is also shorter from the brow area to the nose piece and it leaves my nose open.

I'm going to be ordering 3 - 4 sets here real soon...but first I wanted to see if any other goggle CO. makes goggles like this?

Has anyone else had this happen? Having to switch to a different goggle because it just didn't fit you right?

I have been using the SCOTT Hustle goggles for over 6 months now, and have had no problems with them. When it is time, I will buy another set. The previous set of googles did pinch my nose a bit, but not these ones, they fit really good. No compliants here.

Thanks man! I was wondering if any other brand of goggles out there have that wider nose piece area? I love those Hustle goggles.......makes me kind of pissed I waited this long to try something like these out. I guess I just got used to the way my older Alloy's fit.......I didn't know what I was missing.

I was using the Steel mx goggles for a while before i got hurt and absolutely loved them. Nice thick foam, anti scratch coatings on the lenses, nice wide opening on the nose as well. The newest goggle theyve released (called the meld) even has a removeable nose guard so it offers protection for your nose if your helmet doesnt have a built in guard. Check them out. www.steelmx.com

Everyone has different face structure which makes different brands more comfy. With that said, I'm hooked on Utopia's. They feel like a pillow on your face. No pinching, thick foam, and durable.

I've used the Scott NoSweat/89 for a long time and love the way they fit, but like you said they can put a little extra pressure on your nose. I had the same problem and recently bought the Hustle and it worked great for me too! I am able to breathe much better now. Everyone's face is different and some brands will fit better than others, but I love the hustle goggle. Best goggle I've ever worn.

Scott is the " go to goggle" because if your looking for tear off's at the races if the guy has 1 set of tear offs'it's Scott

couple of Scott models now have nose adjustable options.

I have had a few pairs of Smith goggles over the years and they all blocked my nose badly. A mate of mine also had some and said he had the same problem. I trimmed the foam around the nose on mine, which helped.

I used to have some ProGrip goggles too, and hated them because the curve in the back of the frame was too tight and they didn't fit my face properly. They also restricted my peripheral vision.

I currently have a pair of Scott Hustle goggles and really like them. They actually have screws you can turn with four different positions to adjust the shape of the frame to fit your face (I think its called the Scott FIT system). I have had Scott 89's (now called Recoil) in the past and liked them also. Lenses and tear-off's seem to be cheaper and more readily available over here than for other brands, and Scott roll-off's are by far the best on the market IMO.

I have tried quite a few different brands over the years (ProGrip, Spy, Oakley, Smith) and always end up going back to Scott. I would have to say that the Scott goggles I have had were better than anything else in terms of comfort, durability, cost and performance. I won't ever use anything else.

Utopias are imo the crown jewel of goggles. Well, the Warrants are. Awesome peripheral vision, great shape, excellent pull / tension. After those are Vonzippers. The new Scotts are lightyears better, but every face is different, what works for me might not be great for you.

Some great advice and actual testaments on the goggles guys....Thank you! I'll be picking up 4 new sets tomorrow or Saturday. I can't believe that after riding and racing for 35 + years , it took me this long to figure out.....my goggles didn't fit my face properly. I guess it's little things like that I don't pay to much attention to. But man.....what a difference it was wearing those Hustle goggles over my old alloy's. Night and day actually.

Yeah Hut....those are them. I didn't adjust the "nose cam" thing at all , as the kid must of had it adjusted , or it just so happened to of fit my face perfectly. Thanks for that Video! Until now....I hadn't seen exactly how the cam locks actually worked.....and it makes perfect sense. Damn....I can't wait to get these things. Since I ride a Honda right now , I'm ordering up two sets of the Canard replica , one set of the red/white Maze and one all white. I'll pick up an extra chrome and Amber lens as well since it's summer time.

Not to hijack Jeffro's thread here.....but has anyone tried the new 100% goggles yet? I woul like to know how they fit.

I am running the new Spy Klutch gaggles and like them. I also have some Utopia's and I can attest to the fit and feel of them...very nice!

Glad Jeffro finally found some good goggles....one less thing to listen to him bitch about, now if we can get him on a Kawasaki, a new helmet and a big ol' absorbant towel for his vag he will be all smiles! hahaha!!

What is the difference between the Scot Hustle and the Scott Tyrant? I see they use the same lenses and tearoffs, they both have the FIT system and they both use the 3.2 three layer no-sweat face foam. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is.

You bastard! hehe.....was a great ride yesterday man.....little sore today.

FGR01 : I am not sure what the differences would be between the two as I haven't seen a set of the Tyrant's yet. One thing I noticed about the Hustle goggles is the area where it rests on your nose , is really wide compared to most other goggles out there. Instead of it sweeping up to a point , it actually almost has a flat spot about a 1/2" wide where it would rest on the bridge of your nose ( If that makes any sense ). The set I wore was keeping the foam off my nostrils and more on the cheek area where it meets the side of your nose......and until then , I had never wore a set of goggles like that. For me.....it was a pretty damn cool feeling being able to breathe out of my nose like that. I struggled with this for years and just never thought about looking for a different set of goggles. now I know.

I totally get it and you have me convinced. Now I just have to decide Tyrant or Hustle. The Hustle is a few bucks cheaper so I might just try that since you've already confirmed it works for stuffy nose bridge dudes.

Just ordered up my 4 sets of these Hustle goggles. One on back order ( one of the canard Rep sets )....so I'll be able to use them this weekend. I just happened to be cruising through Ebay and found some great prices on them.....and wouldn't you know it , it was Jimmy Anderson's shop in Longview WA. He owns the place. Went riding with him a few times last winter , which was kind of cool as he was kind of a hero of mine when I was younger. Jimmy ran #244 up here in the NW , then hit the nationals in 83' , 84 , 85 and got national #19 ( 6th overall I think in the 125cc class )......and he still runs that number.

This is his site and you guys can compare prices if you like , he's pretty competitive. >>> http://www.fullcirclepowersports.com

Follow up. I got a pair of both the Tyrant and the Hustle. Basically the Tyrant is wider and flatter and the Hustle is more narrow and curved harder. The Tyrant is better for people like me with wide set eyes and a wide face where the Hustle is better for people with beady eyes and a skinny face.

The Tyrant has the same foam and FIT system as the Hustle so it is just as nice for stuffy noses.
