I have a cr 125r and I'm looking to buy a 4 stroke. I don't know what to get a crf yzf or kxf. I want a bike that is really reliable and has good power. I never rode a yz or kx so i don't know if I would like them. I'm about 5'11" and 158 lbs

i cant stand the way they handle... ive ridden a 08 and an 11. both were too all over the place for me. budget wise though they are usually a lot cheaper than the others and their motors go forever compared to honda and kawi. but id ride a kawi or a suzuki any day of the week over a honda or yamaha

Whatever you do, don't buy a 250f any older than 08. Be careful and choose wisely. Do some research. Buying a 250f isn't as easy as just liking the look of it.

Use the cash you have and buy a new leftover model, killer deals on 2011 s, rebates on some 2012. Like said above i would not buy a used 250f. I know you might not want new , but in the long run, it will be worth it. Some people do not want payments though, either buy used take a chance or save, or use the cash as a down payment and have some pretty low bike payments?

+1. Save up a little more and buy a left over brand new one. If you buy a 2700$ 250f and she blows up, you might as well take it to the scrapper.

Wow that's extreme. It isn't like that in Australia, but i can tell that people are reluctant to pay much for a used 250f...They sit on ebay for a long time. Even the ones that seem the best to buy usually have to re-advertise 2 - 3 times.
