Great job tortelli and for overseeing a great track and race. I know it was a big burden and very stressful for you all weekend but I applaud your efforts. Will you do it again next year? probably not but good job anyway. Incredible racing as usual mx1 class.

In the interviews with Tortelli he said that there is a 5 year deal to have the race in Mexico but I also read Glen Helen had a long term deal so who knows.

The did have mudholes in the first motos but the second rounds looked pretty good. Only minor dusty spots were visible at the end of the day.

So, let me get this straight...

You start one thread slamming Guiseppe Luongo for the farcical planning and preparation of the Mexican GP (Because the riders lodged a complaint about the track being too dusty) and now you sing the praises of Tortelli, congratulating him on exactly the same thing you were blaming Luongo for?

No, you wanted to cause a stir and talk shit about Youthstream because the track was not up to scratch, and now that the GP was actually a success (on screen at least we had good racing) you're praising Tortelli for his fantastic preparation.

Track crew work the track mate. Organisers run around in a panic sorting a million and one other problems. They dont have time to sit in machines. Seems to me the problem with the track was not the way it was built but how they organised the water situation. That would be sebastians deal you would have thought

rack turned out good mate but it was definateley disorganised to begin with. maybe youd expect that with a first time promoter. As for the TV thats most definateley YS end of things. That should have been way better

Nice to see Philliaerts back too . Those Doug Henry style injuries he had to his arms last season would have finished most riders off.

Making it right Sunday? Surely thats not a high bar to set or something to be proud of?

I'm curious to see how watering was over looked like a school boy amateur race... WATERING!?!?!!?

Can't blame Seb for the terrible live broadcast though. ha.

If they would hold this race at Red Bud, the crowd would be twice as big, the track twice as nice and the chance of seeing a dead body almost non existant.

but seriously... RED BUD 2013
