Looking back twenty years, to the wild world of Superbikers. We've lost a Danny and a Ricky in the interim.

Along with the original L.I. scrambles and motocross gang, we raced every race at Westhampton, Bridgehampton, all the upstate tracks, Unadilla, Pepperall and met Jim McKay. Check out my pinterest.com/yorkt , my History of American Motocross

Thanks for that 'Tube, TerryK. That sure makes my CN link seem lame!

That is so cool, seeing the dirt trackers (the bikes) handle disciplines so different from Class C; of course that's due to the ability of the dirt trackers (wearing leathers).Wink

I'm probably not alone in thinking those were the days.

Add 10 to that 20, J T. And regretably,we have to add the #8 in the Dirt Track heat to the fallen hero list.,the late Steve Eklund.

project racer, you're right there, I overlooked Eklund. I don't know if that's Ted Boody in Row 2 of the dirt track heat, but I know he competed in a later Superbikers event, here leading Steady Eddie:

We've lost a lot of admirable heroes over the years, but I guess that comes with the territory.

Incidentally, I spent my first 45 years in South Tampa.
