I suspect it was done because the post was one of the more idiotic postings I've seen made. Let's see, you have some of your property stolen, and you seek help in recovering it. Your reward for doing so is to be accused of Insurance Fraud. Are you following the stupidity of the original post?
Awereness is what he was refering to. Is it possible YES, could they be asking for SYMPATHY to cover their tracks? All these questions come to mind. How often does a rig get stolen? Maybe 50 a year. Come on insane one's commet was not that bad..

Dont you mean your own comment?
Doesnt matter what you may "think" happened, the point is do you know Langstons enough to make an assumption? I doubt it..but many here do.

Following your line of logic, it's possible that you beat your wife, you keep dogs as pets because they taste great on the BBQ, and that you're a Nazi sympathizer. I'm not saying that's the case, but it's possible, right?

Where are you pulling the number that 50 trucks a year get stolen? I'm starting to suspect that you're next in line behind Insane One...

how come in the original article it said there were no bikes in the trailer, just tools and parts....but in the article stating they found the trailer, it says "They have found the trailer, and the bikes were chained up, so the important stuff was there.."??

Im sorry, but the fact that it keeps happening does make it a little suspicious. Im not saying it is an inside job, but there is always the POSSIBILITY.

Glad they found the truck, but can someone over there start using precautionary measures to protect their bikes, trucks, store, etc. To be honest if they get any more stuff stolen I will not feel bad for them at all, you can only be stupid for so long. Put up cameras and other security measures.

p.s. if i get clipped for this then w.e. Im over it.

I got a phone call from one of the team mechanics when they were first trying to spread the word. He told me it was the tractor only, and that's what I posted. When the Racer X article came out saying that it was both, I texted him back and asked him to confirm if it was the tractor and trailer, or tractor only.

Wow..... you are watching a little too much TV. That kind of stuff doesn't happen in the real world.

Okay, so the truck and trailer were stolen and now the trailer has been recovered. The truck is still missing. At least that's what I get out of the RacerX postings.

I've been waiting for this day for weeks. Thank you GuyB!

Hopefully there is a camera in the surrounding area (gas station maybe?) that can at least tell them which way it went.

yeah I got that part...but i was questioning the first Racer X article that said the truck and trailer were stolen, said

"Although there wasn’t any of the team's race bikes in the rig, the rig did have all the team's parts and tools"

and then the more recent article about finding the trailer said:

"They have found the trailer, and the bikes were chained up, so the important stuff was there.."

were there bikes in there or not? i guess it doesnt matter at this point.....lol

So did everyone get the same treatment as the insane one that posted that they also suspect the same thing. You can not deny that the insane one does not have a piont. It does not mean that's what happened, he just stated that could be a possibility. With today's economy everyone could be a suspect. You didn't even give the insane one a warning! So for us who can relate to what the insane one had mentioned. We all are subject to get clipped. After reading your forum rules I can only assume that if anybody disagrees you or writes something you do not like on one of your post they will get clipped. What is one of your rules. Oh, treat others the way you want to be treated. If that was true how do you justify clipping the insane one and not yourself? In this thread your second post you called Mutt an idiot, why and for what? Then you clipped the insane one for saying what he had said. Do the right thing and read your own rules in which you expect everyone to follow. Then reinstate the insane one. We like this forum but you were wrong to call mutt and everyone else you called an idiot and clip the insane one. reinstate him

Holly shit, So, must the the rules don't apply to everyone! The point was taken the insane one feels bad for what had happened. He did say it does suck. He was looking at it from a detective standpiont. What's the big deal? The insane one did not like the fact that GuyB and yourself say what you want, how you want to say it. With no reguards of the rules. He did not like the fact that certain members are allowed to swear and belittle others on here. There's another way to say what you two are diong and that is called BULLYING. ! So as far as you go well I hope GuyB re reads his rules and clipps you for calling me the DUMB F*CK.!!!!

I didn't call Mutt an idiot, I was calling the thief that. Mutt figured it out.

Some posters are worth saving. Some aren't. There was no detective work in that post. That was being a douchebag. Big diffence.

You want an unwritten rule? Don't tell the the mods and admins how to do their job on the day that you sign up on the board. It makes them cranky.

How are they supposed to refer to another poster? The third person singular seems appropriate to me. I guess they could have been gender-neutral, but it would be odd/creepy if millus316 used a first person narrative.

There's about 20 to 30 trucks a month, maybe more, stolen in California alone. Use to be, years ago in the 80's early 90's, the truck would be stolen to part out and you'd never find it. Then you started having fake warehouses being set up to bring in full truck loads of stolen freight. The gangs and drug dealers figured out you could make good money stealing a truck load or three a night in some cases and if you got caught, the penalty wasn't as tough as if you were caught dealing drugs.

Usually the truck and trailer end up being found pretty quick....empty of course...as they ditch them along some street somewhere. It's to much work to tear em apart anymore with little return compared to just dropping the load and getting paid.

It's a bigger problem then most people think. There's things that can be done to keep the truck from being stolen that are cheap and easy to do. It's not a 100% guarantee your truck won't get stolen anyway but it sure is a deterrent.

Oh hell. Someone will be along momentarily to accuse you of being a drug dealing truck stealing gang member. Either that or accuse you of owning a trucking company! LOL . Hope all is well sir.
