Wouldn't it be in the best interest of them to make a run at a 450 mx title with Barcia this year. He's gotta be moving up to factory next year. With Eli in the lites and Barcia in the 450 they have a really good chance at sweeping both mx titles right? Just a thought.
And what would be the point we have all been told that since JS is going yellow that he will go 24-0 so why does Geico ruin a shot at the 250 championship.

1. Four races on a no pressure 450 fill in ride proves he is way faster on 450?
2. There is a very real chance he will not win a title against veteran champions in the 450 class.
3. He was way out of contention for the 250 title at the time due to illness and the wrist injury so they let him run the 450 because Canard and Grant were out injured and Windham only did a partial schedule. Honda wanted a bike on the track and Barcia got the call.
The fact is Honda has 2 title contenders in the 250 class and has better odds of taking home that title than throwing one rookie into the 450 class.
Apparently he is as tired of the #7 threads as I have grown of the 'Barcia should ride a 450' idea when Barcia himself, and everyone around his program (Stanton, Larocco) have all repeatedly stated that this year is all about the 250 sx and mx titles.
It's kinda like Obama running for President in 08. Although there was plenty of argument why he shouldn't run, the opportunity was flippin golden. Sometimes you have to capitalize on current opportunities. You never know when team Honda will have such a good chance at the title.
