Hi, I've had a problem with my bike for like a month now and it's starting to drive me crazy to not being able to ride!

So the problem is that my Husqvarna WR 125 ( 2011) cuts out when it gets warm, mostly after maybe 10 minutes of riding, sometimes it takes a little longer, like 20min. It works perfectly untill then, and when it has cooled of it fires back up again.

I think it is something electrical but I'm not sure where to look, I've tried changing the voltage regulator ( Side note, this is an offroad bike with a lights etc), and it ran for a little longer, but then same thing, it stalled.

When it dies the spark goes away, I've cleaned all the electrical contacs, head plug etc, checked the cables for damaged but it's nothing like that.

I'm asking you guys for help in hope that you've heard someone or had the sam problem, and if you have an idea of what the problem could be, please don't hold back!

Thanks in advance.

Check the reeds......prob. not the prob with the consistency you are having. You may have seized the bike and it keeps seizing once it gets hot again. Dave

I hope you do not own tools, it is not the reeds and your bike is not seizing every 20 minutes...

I'd bet the house that it is the stator

Had a customer YZ85 swore the stator going out. Turned out to be soft rubber bits in carb shutting off fuel flow and mimicking a failing stator.

Agree it sounds like a stator.

Old school trick is once the eng. stops running spray electrical contact cleaner on one electrical component at a time. Cooling it off will sometime allow you to restart the eng thus helping you isolate the problem.

I go along with Cygnus on this one. It's the stator.
