How many of these riders listed tested James Stewarts bike? How many rode a YZ with a Penske shock and Showa forks? how many of them rode a YZ with a repositioned swingarm pivot, changed frame geometry, repositioned engine and totally new body work?

NONE!

If you post on here and think any of these factory bikes are anything close to what you buy at the dealer, go back to the beginner class, cause you have no clue. If Stewart was so good on X-brand bike, JGR would have built that bike and put a Yamaha sticker on it.

When you walk into your local dealer and say, I want a Kawasaki because RV wins championships, please let me be there so we can laugh your poser ass out the door.

1993 CR250 - Look it up. Same frame geometry as a 1994,1995,1996 CR250, 1997 RM250, 1998, 1999, 2000, YZ250.

Whats the correlation?

Jermey McGrath's bikes so spare me the factorys "cant change frame geomoetry crap". He's even publicly put that info out and has said it was the main reason he left Honda because they switched to the Aluminum frame and would not let him race his old frame.

RC's subframes where cut and rewelded for his height, That same subframe available to the pubic?

Preach to a difference choir.

Really? on what? Wait you said 100% so that means everything.

Read McGraths book, it goes into how he wanted to only race the 93 frame geometry.

And there was an interview with Goose several millenia back about what they prep on RC's bike. Went something like, "they regusseted the frame, and cut the subframe so it won't hit him in the butt in the whoops cause he was so short"

Wish I had the time to look for and post the links but unfortuneately I have a life so you will have to keep telling me I am incorrect...

Exactly what is a "Just "an" For Your Information" anyway
Everybody knows MC ran the 93 frame geometry. You are allowed to run an older STOCK frame geometry, you cannot cut up or modify a same year frame geometry. If I guy wants to enter a SX today on a 2005 CRF450 he can..

The sub frame doesn't count, as it's not one unit with the frame. Thats why RC could cut his subframe down. Stewarts frame is stock, its the rules. The only thing they can do is use spacers to change the engine rotation to try and put more central mass on the front end. They can't simply hack up his frame and change motor mounts, etc. That's what the production rule is for.. If they still had the works rules, it wouldn't be a problem.

might help, also MXA has Yamaha as 2nd in most HP and 1st in top end HP and 2nd in overall HP. With the best suspension stock of any bike, (no dispute with that from any magazine) and it sounds to me like a real POS starting point.

Or maybe, Someone fired their trainer as to not have to work out, only rides 4 months a year, sits on the couch with all his man-friends while cameras film it, thinking "actual" riders really want to watch that crap and has now come to the realization that he barely can consistently break top 5 and that's if he stays off the ground.

Pulled out my old videos, he crashed on the KX "more" than he crashes on the YZ. In fact these were the years it was started he either crashes or wins.

time to face facts boys, if he doesn't start racing full seasons (on any bike makes no difference really) and gets back to training instead of reality TV, ...........he's done!!!
You didn't answer my question smart guy. Did Villopoto really show up to Unadilla on a 2012 frame or did Villopoto and Weimer both show up on the new 2012 Kawis that they were debuting?

I was at the race and I heard both Poto and Weimer were on the 2012, frame only.

That's because all the 2011 stuff bolts right into the 2012 frame. A 2012 KX450F is a 2011 KX450F with a new frame and plastics essentially, and since the 2012 had been homologated, it was literally impossible for them to break the rules. They put the new frame/plastics on for Unadilla, making the entire package the 2012 model. They could have put the old frame back in for Southwick, and it still would have been legal, it would have have been a complete 2011 model.

Ryan Dungey talked to JGR prior to finalizing his deal with KTM, but said he would not even ride one lap on the Yamaha. Credit goes out to JGR for putting a lot of very expensive perfume on that pig, and to Stewart and Millsaps for making it look much better than it is. For the haters, instead of talking crap and making shit up, post a link, even one single link, with a quote from James Stewart blaming the bike for his lack of success. Just one...yeah, that's what I thought. So sit down and STFU.

Steve just posted this in the thread about J-bone:

When this all gets sorted out, I think all of us (except there will be the haters of course) should admire James. He doesn't have to race nationals per his JGR Yamaha deal and could sit at home and collect millions. Instead, he's so upset at not being able to race and win that he's going to take a big hit $ wise so he can race the nationals on a yellow bike (at least that's the latest..it could change)

JGR isn't getting what they wanted out of this deal and neither is James, sometimes things just don't work out. But James could have very easily just rode at 3/4, collected a check and stayed home all summer. I admire him to be honest, he's betting on himself.

J-bone said in the interview that he has to let JGR know before May 1st if he'll be racing outdoors for them. So early next week we may see a press release from JGR telling us one way or the other, and if it's that he won't be then we'll have to wait for any press release from someone else telling us he will be...

Maybe you should hire out your crystal ball - I don't think anybody really expected things to go this badly.

You didn't expect James to crash a lot, win a race or 2, and not do outdoors? I don't have a crystal ball but you seem quite naive.

I expected James to win enough rounds to take the championship. Much like JGR when they hired him? This season has been a trainwreck...no pun intended. I can't believe he crashed that many times w/o getting hurt worse!!!

well golly if the 94 95 and 96 were the same then why did mc insist on the 93? ive pored over the spec sheets for most of those bikes a time or two and i gotta tell ya they are not anywhere near the same

Adding extra bracing and modifying the sub frame are all legal. Hell pretty sure Dv said they have a real human weld up the frame instead of a production line robot for the factory guys. Steering heads with eccentric races could alter front geometry minutely. same goes for Swingarm mount i would suppose.

He has crashed that much his entire career, I guess you haven't watched much SX prior to this season.
