So after years of being a 4 stroke advocate I switched sides, now on a 02 RM 250. So it has taken me a while but I am really liking the way this thing works, the suspension was just done by MCR and I have seemed to dial it in real nice. I really have no complaints, but I read the posts about the 04 and newer being a great handling bike and wonder what the difference is?
Like I said mine handles awesome but can it be better with some of the 04 parts? was there a chassis change?

2003: Believe it was a one year bike.
2002: Not sure about 2002 and earlier models.

my 03 rm125 had cylinder plating issues (flaking) and they fixed that on the newer ones supposedly...
the suzukis are really good bikes though, enjoy it!

--- just picked me up a 05 RM 250 w/ low hrs. last month. Now I use my RMZ for site laps!
New plastics (including RMZ plate and front fender), graphics, susp revalved & springs
Here's mine (a 2003), which I love. Totally rips and haven't had a single problem with it. And I'm coming off of CR500's.
I have always loved RM's.
