Throwing some smack down. I heard there were some GEICO Honda and Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki bikes torn down, too.

I have always wanted to know. Are they given enough time to get the bikes back together.

If I was the owner of eleven 10 mods I would make an ad out of that photo that says something like " our bikes are so fast they think we're cheating."

So the people on the board that say the PC and FC bikes are not legal, don't actually know what they are talking about???

Interesting.

I can say that Chad the owner of Eleven 10 has said it would make a great add! However there is no money for such things as every penny the shop has will be used for vegas! They tore DD's 37 bike down last year (another e10 Honda) at St. Louis as well and all was legal. The vibe the crew got tonight is that some teams have voiced an opinion that a small VERY low budget team should not be having the results they have. The team started cracking up about a big bore on AM30 bike since it is the SAME motor he used at the Daytona jet ski races! Just a new ring, head and base gasket =).

How about the flash lights the AMA guys are holding to see... you have to love the old box truck and ez-up out there getting it done.

The PC and Geico guys are going to be legal bikes! There is way to much to loose to even take such a risk! Anyone who thinks they would do otherwise is smoking something!

I could have sworn the Two Smoke Taliban had this theory that PC and FC were running 285s or something like that. I mean that's the only logical way they can jump the sections they do.

Should have listened to my gut on this one OC.

Newmann and his clan wont brainwash me again!!!

Ice,

If any of the technical inspectors at the AMA knew how and what to look for, they'd be working for one of the teams, not the AMA.

The smartest people in the business by a long shot are the ones building the bikes. It's that way in every motorsport and its why the people doing the policing will always be chasing their tales.

You may not like the messenger, or the message, but newman isnt full of it.

Why would the 250s need a bigger bore they already have an asinine advantage that killed the 125s hopes of ever competing fairly?
If you don't miss the true 125 class then I don't what to tell ya...

It isnt rocket science. All they have to do is measure bore and stroke. Any goon can do that.

tear down every bike in the main and you will find cheater bikes. Top guys are not the cheaters where the struggling ..... have a lot to gain.

Where exactly did I say Pro-Circuit was cheating with their $17,500,00 crankshafts and Formula One gearboxes in their $200,000.00 apiece bikes?Wink If you however think those bikes are good for the sport and the up and coming racers in the regional sx series then you most definitely are brainwashed. Mitch has stated time and time again how disgustingly expensive the four stroke program has been compared to their 125 days so there is no mystery there. Mitch milks the rulebook for all it is worth.

Right on Lumpy. PC and Geico are going to be using stock bore and stroke. Those are big buck motors. The low-buck way to compete is adding cc's.

Breaking NEWS....although AMA techs found that Eleven 10 motor was legal/in spec, that is not the most interesting thing they found....they happened to find a REVERSE gear inside Martins motor!!! Martin used it immediately following the first lap of the main event

Tim McAdams, the Chief Technical Inspector, knows exactly what to look for. He spent many years at Suzuki running one of the tech trucks at the amateur nationals, and he spent years as a factory wrench for the likes riders like Dungey and Mike Alessi.

On top of all of this, he is one of the most fair, and nicest guy's that you will ever come across in this industry.

The AMA tech that tore down Renners bike must have thought it was ridiculously easy in comparison to what was happening with Martin's bike! Maybe partially explain why more four strokes don't get torn down.
