I'd love to see RV give Bubba a little preview of what's to come in 2009 if he ends up winning the AMA MX lites championship early and has some time to play around at the end of the season. As Dominant as he is right now, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he'd come right in aboard a 450 and feed James a little roost outdoors and make the MX class a little more exciting. At least he'd do better than Stewarts current crop of competition.

That would be great if it were to happen but I don't remember Pro Circuit doing that for any of their former riders and it seems like nearly every year they have a rider that's locked up the title early.

I'm not a Cairoli fan, but at least he had the nuts to do it last year.

It would be cool to see, but I'd be surprised if it happened without lots of prep time.

Yeah, the rookie just comes up and smokes the guy who is more dominant in the motocross class than he is in the lites. definitely.

Not going to happen, and would't happen anyway.

7 and 800 would have him covered.

RV will not be showing JS anything for a little while. Patience is a virtue even in Moto.

How about the other way around. James can bring back the 125.

I suppose you think it's RV's decision?

Even if he did and thats a big IF he still would not beat james.

#7 got smart and only rides fast enough to win he's got a lot more speed on tap that he doesn't use .... RV is fast no doubt but not fast enough to beat james

James and Mike would still go 1-2 in both motos.

rv isn't fast enough to beat james right now but give him a few seasons on the 450's and i think him and stewart will be very close outdoors

I think RV is fast enough to run with #800 and #7, I just don't think he's strong enough yet. Look at how both of those guy's have bulked up since being on the 450's! I think RV will need a good year to do the same.

yup needs a little bulking BUT top 3 maybe even 2 for sure....

This thread isn't entirely honest i so dear hope so.. When was the last time someone switched classes at the end of the year?.. I think it may have been Ricky in 2002, when he was on Chevy Trucks Kawasak KX250, and he switched to a Pro-Circuit KX125. (Mitch got mad becase he didn't wear the Thor gear due to his Fox contract.)(They Have mended that issue.)

I'd say do it the other way around. Like RC before him, maybe Stewart will ride a MX2 bike in his last Kawi ride.

RV might cause James to stay on his game and not relax on the track, but RV wont beat James straight up.

if RV can man handle an open bike like he does a minibike he will kick ass...if he can't he's in plaster.

Nothing to gain, plenty to lose.
