It was announced today that we have lost Rich Caselli to a silent battle with cancer. Most of us know Rich as the father of arguably America's best off road racer (Kurt Caselli) and as a true supporter of our sport.
Rich always supported the American off-road dream and it was evident by the legacy he has left. No matter if you stood beside him or on the other side of the fence you could not argue his belief in the American off-road racer. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Caselli family.
I know Rich, from the many years in competition during the Endurance series. He was a great man to be around. Always seemed to be smiling and laughing. This comes as a great shock to me, as I have not talked to, or seen Rich, since the 24 hour GP last year.
The Off-road industry has suffered a great loss.

Rich Caselli was a good man and no one was more passionate about this sport than he was. He did so much for it and never looked for any credit or rewards. More importantly Rich was a great father to his family, a great husband and a great friend. RIP man.
