Pretty sure I said top level B rider when I was 16 and then lost it, not sure how that makes me a hypocrite... As far as the word "hypocrite" goes... You can look elsewhere. I never claimed to be a pro. I simply stated that I was at the same level as these guys growing up in the amateur ranks. I crashed and biffed it and then had a case of the "common sense syndrome" on a bike. I no longer took the risk of getting landed on, wadding it 4th gear wide, hitting a collie on the face of a jump in the dusk light (yeah that happened), putting the burden of hospital bills on my parents, etc. That doesn't disqualify me from being knowledgeable on the subject matter. It doesn't negate my opinion. You've got your perspective and I've got mine. Like I previously stated, Bogle > Alessi > Choover (by a long shot). I'm not trying to get in a pissing contest as I've also already stated, just stating my credentials. If I were a soccer player who had no clue about the sport except that I like RV2 because he is winning it's a hell of a lot different than knowing the people who are there week in and week out. To be blunt, I even praised Mike for his "tenaciousness" this year. He's actually showed up like a man rather than whine.I'm not whining about my misfortune, I chose a different path because it was the BEST decision I could make for my future. Look at the path of MA800's career with real teams... NOT GOOD. But to compare a frustrated kid to a guy who's had the best amateur upbringing of all time is just asinine. Motocross IS a hobby to 99% of the people on dirt bikes, and we do it for the love of the sport. It doesn't matter if you value my opinion or not. You're just a bunch of pixels...

Fuckin' squids, gotta love 'em
peely...he's not Ddavis II (but I can see how you would draw that conclusion based on his rather rocky first few post LOL). He's actually a really good kid, and sharp enough to grasp the concept of "think twice, post once" fairly quick Tongue Having said that...Choover541...STFU NOOB! Laughing

This thread is about as pristine, clinical example of vitaltardism as I have seen. Recently, anyway.

I just don't get some of you sometimes. You complain about robots and then complain about someone that shows emotion because the emotion isn't the one you wanted to see. Bogle-be pissed because your down and know your capable of better. Barcia-talk shit cuz you've earned it. Roczen-get irritated when when someone beats you know you had them covered. Durham-give the crowd a show when you made a move and it worked out. Stewart-go for broke, because its you and it got you where you are. I may not be any of these guys number one fan, but i am a fan of the sport and i love the diversity and animosity. Show emotion. Get pissed. Throw a tantrum. Your working hard to prove you can do what you always dreamed about. I think that deserves every kind of emotion you got in you. ROCK ON!
I agree with Swizcore that this is a good post...I dont particularly like the first half because "the robots" dont bother me that much but the second half of that paragraph I really agree... with JS I just didnt understand why he didnt ride in a way that I felt was "smarter" but the fact is he is James Stewart and he has a goal: most SX wins ever. He just needs to keep being himself, if he wants the most wins then go out there each and every time and ride as fast as he can. He needs to ride the way he has been doing it his whole life. If he wrecks then he wrecks, but at least he was doing what he wanted to do.

As you can see I'm new to the boards. Although my dad isn't, and from what I gather that's pretty much as harsh of criticism as it gets on here so cut a guy a break!
Fair enough. Kind of made a splash with your opening venture into the Vital-Sphere.

You should post some links to some of your results at big amateur races.

BTW......I find it interesting that you raced with Mike Alessi and Justin Bogle since they are like 6 years apart in age.
Generally as an amateur most of your competition is within about 2-3 years of your own age.

I never said I raced either of them. I grew up battling Tommy Hahn in Kansas among others. I only beat him rarely but hey, a wins a win. When we went to Ponca I broke my leg on the triple step down in 96' due to flagger error in about 6th place. I won the 97 Guthrie Arenacross on an 80, and I won an intermediate Arenacross on a 250 2smoker in 02' on Friday night and shattered my foot the next! My dad posted photos in vital's photos today, look for Moto-Photo by Hoov you can see me and Jacob Saylor battling. Photo's 29 and 31 are from Guthrie 97, they didn't knock the catapult down and I was the only 80 doing it, that definitely helped Wink

I think all of the emotions are cool to see. But when you're stalled on the track and a race is going on you don't have time to be waiving your arms around. Start that thing and get me some fantasy points! Hell you may even put some money in your own pocket haha

It's just how racing is, sometimes emotion gets the upper hand. For you people saying its his age no, no it's just racing. I have a story to tell.

3 weeks ago we had another round of the AMX state championship rd, The week prior I was having brake problems and thought I got them dialed in well I was WRONG!. First moto went smooth, brought it home for the win. 2nd moto comes and I line up, gate drops and we are off. The start has a dog leg to the left then down hill into a 180* turn, the first part of the turn your pinned going into the down hill then hard on the binders.

Well guess what I go to get on the binders and have know back brake, 2nd place going down hill! I start down shifting and chopping the front brake, I get it to the point where I'm able to start laying it over to make the turn and a guy in another class that was gated with us comes around my outside and I could not keep from hitting him, anyways I cleaned out him, myself and 2 others in the process. The guy gets up and yells at me to "Damn, hold your line bro" so my reply was a big "fuck you".

Anyways it's heat of the moment, it's racing even us VET 30+ guys let it get the best of us. If you don't race then you probaly just don't know............or understand.

Problem with Bogle is not that he is young and a rookie just showing emotion.

He has ALWAYS been a punk racer throughout his amateur career. This "show of emotion" as you guys are calling it, is not new for him. He as acted like an entitled bitch his whole career. The kid needs to stop acting like a spoiled vagina everytime someone bumps into him.

As you guys are always so quick to say "rubbin's racing."

Old coach of georgetown John Thompson said before , If you want big boy money and fame act like a big boy, cannot have it both ways. The age excuse is weak. I bet when he cashes his big boy checks I bet he acts pretty normal.

Agreed. Reminds me of Alessi with all of the entitlement and throwing his hands up. I thought it was funny that he wasted time showing his displeasure with the guy that accidentally hit him when he stalled instead of kicking the bike over, and then being ok enough to bitch at the rider he got together with in the air but laying on the ground 3 seconds later. The kid seems like a bitch.
What a dork....

Bogle should have backed it down and made the pass in the next few turns. He knew where that line went and still tried to beat Angelo over the jump. That was flat out stupid on Bogles part.
Indeed it was stupid on Bogle and if you look closely to the video it looks like Bogle whips the bike also!! That is the crazy part! If you ask me Bogle was two times angry for two incidents that where his own fault!

He really needs to work on his attitude! The I'm-so-good-love-me-please idiot!
