nothing on RacerX, nothing on Transworld, nothing from the Stewart camp except for their evaluation post early this week. I'm just curious why it's assumed he's out since we have nothing to go on, and they were looking at Toronto waiting to decide.

it's Thursday afternoon. what gives.

I thought the same thing. He's been pretty upfront for the most part this year.
I hope I'm completely wrong, but I don't think it's looking good that he'll be lining up this weekend.

Stewart, 25, pleaded no contest this morning to a misdemeanor related to a March arrest.
November 9, 2011

Millionaire motocross star James "Bubba" Stewart, accused in March of trying to use flea market-bought flashing lights to pull over a vehicle containing actual law officers, pleaded no contest this morning to a misdemeanor related to the case.

The plea agreement calls for Stewart to perform 75 hours of community service but adjudication of guilt was withheld because he is a first-time offender.

He will be fined $500 and will be on probation for a year.

Stewart, initially charged with impersonating a law enforcment officer — a felony —pleaded no contest to a first-degree misdemeanor charge of using flashing or rotating lights on a motor vehicle.

I Googled James Stewart Jr sentence. It wasn't difficult.

If you read what I copy/pasted, it was a misdemeanor at sentencing.

Nice work, it's rare to see a post that would be equally worthless penned sarcastically or seriously. Much like this one, perhaps.

My guess is no news is bad news. They are waiting until they absolutely have to report just in case he can make it.

WELL, there goes the neighbourhood Sad Hope he gets well, soon. If Villo lets his guard down a little though, Brayton, Milsaps, Metcalfe and KW (is HE racing?) will be more than happy to take the W.

Kyle Cunninham also out. At this point i think there as just as many riders in as there are out.

From now on in the off season instead of thinking how incredible the SX season is going to be, we should just be hoping for the riders to get through it. How many "Perfect Storms" have turned into just a light drizzle? Dizzy

I swear, this season is providing some serious podium opportunities for guys that wouldn't otherwise get a sniff of it if 4 of the big 5 weren't sitting on the couch. I guess that is the silver lining?

Good way to look at it, and add in some big bonus checks for those riders!

Yeah, good opportunity for Klatt, Facciotti and Medaglia to make the main and get noticed.
