Thats's funny. NO WAY he has it in him. Wharton's been the whipping boy for the 250 east since the first round!

Ken is still young and his SX experience is limited. He also got a bad start at the pre-season when he had a crack in his arm so that cut a big piece out of his preparation.

Give the guy some time, if he can't cope with the best in a few seasons then i'l agree with you. Until then, wait and see how he evolves.
thats not what the roczen fans were saying at the begining of the season, he was going to beat barcia for the title no problem, so why the excuses now?

Didn't we just talk about people who move over on other riders in the air? I thought the general concensus was "douche bag".

Bingo
He didn't move over in the air on him while he was NEXT to him and didn't have time to shut off. He just faded to the edge of the track and forced Wharton to shut it down, he still left him 10" - Textbook. Just like when Durham took it back from Roczen.....forced Roc to shut off and give up the position. Now if that was Bub and Chad no one would have let off and both would have gone down.

Yeah, I was pretty stoked for him too. He rode solid and made few mistakes with the pressure.

Yes he did and it was beautiful. Wharton needs to make sure he hits Barcia hard enough to knock him down or stay away from him. You know Barcia is going to bang with you if you provoke him.

I am not one of those fans that pulls crazy assumpions out of his ass, hell why would i even look for excuses? :/
It's not because you win gp/national championships that an SX title or even battle for the spot is certain.

If he killed it on his first real season then i would have been realy suprised, that would be unreal.
Hes young and unexperienced, give him some time to grow and evolve.

Exactly!
Barcia doesnt NEED to ride like that. He chooses to ride dirty and at some point, karma is gonna come callin.

So nobody here saw Wharton stick his tire in Barcia's leg in the previous corner? Amazing.

I saw Barcia start 2 bike lengths behind Wharton entering the whoops, then ride around Wharton only to get shut down.

He then beat Wharton down the next straight and shut off the line, because of what happened in the previous corner.

It's not hard to figure out where the hate comes from on this board.

Congrats Blake rode great!

My intentions with all this Bam Bam talk has been to draw out the discussion and see how we really feel about banging-bars and seein' who'll REALLY FIGHT FOR IT!

While we ALL have our Fan-Boy issues...let's be clear...I'm obviously a Peter Frampton...uh, I mean Blake fan...I think it's clear...and I actually stated this else-where in here...

Justin Barcia is WINNING by being a bad ass and making sure that the competition KNOWS that he is out there for just ONE REASON: To Win!

How the HELL do ya NOT just LOVE THAT?!

As to his "Hit-n-Run" methodology?

It Has...(Historically)
It Can...
It Will...

Cause problems down the road when his fellow competitors say, "O.K., I've had enough!"

Which, is the way he wants it.
Well, He get's it!

Again, as we discussed...else-where...

Just go ask Bob Hannah. I'll bet he's DAMN proud to have Justin compared to him.
