it's a shame we cant qualify people comments with their own race results, that would definitely fix most of this shit being said...

Why did Alessi not hold his line? I have watched the replay over and over, IMO, Alessi made a tool move.
Okay, be quiet. Just be quiet. I'm 100% with Motodrew295. Alessi held his line. Windham was trying to pass, made a mistake and ended up on the back of Alessi. It's ridiculous the amount of people on here that post Alessi this, or Barcia that, without even taking a second look at the replay.

Mike Alessi didn't make a tool move because he didn't make a move period. He scoots over like 2ft to give himself some space from the tough blocks and thats a 'tool move'? Love to see the way you ride.

Team moto-concepts is a local racing effort, their management plays a role in our local motorcross and practice track. I would like nothing more than to see alessi ride to his true potential. However, flipping people off at priestigious races and making questionable line choices isn't how I want to see our local establishment promoted.

Trying to say the incident didn't happen or was caused by something in the dirt isn't going to help alessi. You are only enabling him...

100% Alessi's fault, He's lucky Windham is a nice guy and didn't kick his ass after the race lol..

Look at the vid link posted in this thread. Right at 4 seconds. Alessi's rear wheel hits that rut and kicks him to the right.

Strange that we have those that see nothing, and those that see a rut or a square edge. How can some see a square edge which wouldn't resemble a rut, and others see a rut which wouldn't resemble a square edge? Then there are those that see neither. This would make a great psychological experiment of how people's personal thoughts impact what they see.

Never paid much attention to Alessi until some one posted here and asked if he ever passed anyone. Raced with him many times, he was the most sponsored amateur Honda rider ever. He never made it. Plain and simple. He is really just a sponsored rider that will never win, the upper rank of a privateer. Good for him, but he is in the way now. He's as fast as he'll ever be, and will never win a title. I'll go back to not paying much attention to him again.

To see me ride you will need to come to Texas, but I will need plenty of notice. I would need to take off work and check with my family to make sure there will be some free time to ride. My "job" is not to race on a Professional level on an MX bike. When I do get to ride, there are no interviews, TV cameras, Photographers, or Fans. People don't ask me for autographs or do young MX riders see me as their role model.

However, if I was in the position as listed above my reputation and sportsmanlike conduct would be much different than MA. As was pointed out in this thread, IMO, MA has a history of making "tool moves" on the track.

i've watched it a couple times...can't figure out wtf Alessi was doing...I might have given him the benefit of doubt if he hadn't already proven to be such an on track douche in the past...therefore I can only assume it was just another dumbass move by an overhyped rider.

I'd like to recant my earlier post after viewing the incident again.

I believe he had to know Kdub was on his right and he made a poor decision moving to the right at the time he did.

I think a lot of people feel that way Especially considering the hype....

However, I believe anything is possible and alessi as well as anyone else has the potential to beat ryan villapoto or anyone else . It is going to take a different mind set though a different mentality, positive focus and forward momentum.

Beat RV ??? they are total opposites, 800 gets great starts and fades like a cheap suite ,RV moves forward through the pack on a mission. can't even compare the 2 !!!!!

And still he earned his spot behind the gate.

I'm sure k-dub and Alessi wil talk this over as adults, atleast they wont be trash talking like some bright individuals on this forum.
