Bam Bam has one very simple problem...

He's "Due".

He's Due a few slams, brake checks & take-outs.

Period.

Will this happen? Will anyone get even? We'll see.

My money is on someone lIke Wilson...or even Wharton (aka, Peter Frampton)...one of them is gonna say, "Enough is enough!" & park his ass at the wrong place & @ the wrong time.

Moto-Karma is a Real Mean Bitch.

History Repeats. Go ask Hannah & Howerton.

I'm jus' sayin'...
Will anyone get even?

Even for what exactly, getting beat straight up? Did I miss a t-bone, take-out or even contact at one of the rounds this year.

My bad.

I really don't know much about this stuff & I'm not aware of Bam Bam putting' the moves on anyone...especially at Dallas or Atlanta.

I'm a poser wannabe & I don't even watch these races; because, it's just SO dangerous.

Besides, I've never been to Saddleback; so, surely...I've never seen ANYONE run someone into the fence...

No problem.

I think your mistaken Durham for Barcia, in Dallas, when Wharton was cleaned out.

As far as Atlanta the only moves I recall were Holeshots & more holeshots.

But, I mean hey,...moves are moves.

Bammer has put agro moves on people, this year, when he should jus' go around. Also, yes, Durham is out of his F'n head when he decides to play hit-n-run...especially w/ people he should have just "passed". I think we'll see pay-backs.

In the Bigs, Bammer WILL get parked if he pulls these Agro-moves on the front runners. Not everyone will take it like RD did.

But, I could be wrong.

I think Justin has earned a few bumps and bangs.....he'll probably see the dirt here and there.

I don't think he has done anything outright dirty so I don't think he'll get anything dirty coming his way.
He will certainly get a couple lessons......lol.

Difference about Justin is that he won't be bothered by it, that is how he races and he expects it right back.

He was doing the same last year,a SX specialist but us did great on the 450,but behind RV and RD,he'd probably place best of the rest

Green i get the feeling your not a fan and I respect that. I agree that he is still very aggressive but I think he has turned it down a half notch, I also think that he is not scared of retribution and has a guy in his corner now that will help him understand the fine line between being blatant and giving no quarter. I don't agree with cleaning people out for no reason but otherwise I just love the kid's style. I've been watching this stuff since the seventies and I truly believe we are looking at another once in a blue moon type of rider here. Time will tell.

So Barcia, deserves payback for putting "agro" passes on people this year..

and Durham deserves payback for people he... "just should've passed"

Barcia is a great rider, no question. He will facethe same thing everyone else has to dealwirh now and that ia RV. The little redhead from the NW will be tearin' shit up and racking up titles for the 5+ years. Wins will be few and far between for the other dudes to fightt over.

It'll be interesting. Barcia also lit it up his first few pro races and then kind of fizzled outdoors. He seems like a big fish in a little pond. When he rides outdoors the pond gets bigger and he has trouble. ...............when he has to deal with the best in the world every week the pond will get really big.

Barcia,Tomac and Wilson are the fastest LITES riders inSX not MX yet! No lites rider has ever gone 450 outdoor and smoked em straight up for a season, so i cant see Villo or Dungey getting smoked for a season. Anyway i like the smooth style of Herlings and Seely. would like to see where these two sit in a couple years.

He'll step into the 450 class, get a wake up call, then after a couple seasons he'll be a legitimate contender for the championship. Much like everyone before him besides Dungey and Reed.

He's not even won a title outdoors yet!!

Barcia has been impressive at supercross this year so far- but can't see him beating roczen, wilson or baggett outdoors.

In my opinion the strength in depth is deeper in the lites (outdoors when they are all together) than it is in the 450s in the states. Obviously the top 3 or 4 are very fast in the big class (chad, dungey, RV etc) but after that theres a big drop off in pace. In the 'lites' outdoors this year you have roczen, marvin, wilson, baggett, tomac, bogle, seeley, barcia, wharton who will all be fast. I think barcia will struggle again outdoors in the 'lites' just like he did last year.

Add canard and pourcel to the mix in 2013 (probably) and the 450 class gets a little more interesting! For 2012 with chad and trey being injured- i cant see anyone challenging RV and RD- they will be a league of their own outdoors (thats assuming james doesnt turn up, which is a fair assumption given that he hasnt done the last few years!)

Also really hope ben townley is 100% if he has the team 22 ride for the outdoors and stays fit for a full season!

His wrist was completely fine and he was not sick by the end of outdoors he had a flu at the start of outdoors. He finally did good because he had no pressure. All those finishes he was gapped by a lot from the front runners. Doing good for a hand full of races means nothing it's about the whole season which he couldn't even handle on the lites bike.

All we're really talking about is that this kinda thing often comes "back at'cha"...that's all.

Also, I -AM- a fan...

I'm just a fan with a pretty damn good memory and I know how this kind of thing can play out...historically.

On a 450 I think he's got Red-Plate Potential and he IS "That Fast".

So, in review, if we're all gonna compare him to Hannah, well, let's simply remember that Hannah had to survive some "pay-backs", too.

Another interesting point, from my "perspective"...

I'm around this stuff quite a bit and I'm of the "opinion" that there's some kinda "Gentleman's Agreement" amongst the 450 guys that they AREN'T gonna Hit-n-Run on each-other. Yup, I said it, "Agreement"...

The nice thing?

I don't think Bam Bam is in on it & if he was...? I don't think he's "Having ANY of it".

He is REFRESHING and he may very-well be a "Next-Level" racer.

I hope he is.

Pourcel? really? I can't believe you went there but ok. Speaking of not proving squat on a 450 and oh by the way, never winning a "lites" title......amazing...... He has beaten Wilson and baggett outdoors as well as RV, RC and #22. Roczen remains to be seen but he hasn't been a factor yet in SX. Time will tell and it surely is setting up to be a great outdoor season if everyone can get through stupidcross healthy.....Hopefully Justin stays focused and healthy. It is going to be fun watching him.

I'm a little lost...your not saying barcia has beat rv, rc and Reed outdoors are you? And he definitely hasn't beaten Wilson or baggett outdoors , unless you're talkin about a random Moto here or there they both slaughtered him last year and Wilson also the year before.

simple math and I will add slowly for you. He won overall at southwick in the lites class against RD, and Baggett and last year he beat everyone in the 2nd 450 moto outdoors at Southwick....random moto or not, he has BEATEN them......

I guess if you look at it like that he's beat them a handful of times. And he didn't win an overall he hasn't won an outdoor overall in two years. He won 1 mud Moto against dungey. How many times has he been beat by dungey or even by baggett and Wilson ? Way more times than he's beat them outdoors. Even when he gets a top 5 start outdoors he struggles to get around anyone and stays exactly where he is.

Edit: I didn't read that right. Yeah he did win an overall against dungey in 2009 so did weimer does that mean weimer is gunna be the man? Obviously not.

pourcel has battled with RV, RD, and trey (and came a hell of alot closer to an outdoor title than barcia ever has!)he may not have won the title- but it went right down to the wire between him and RD in 09, and with him and trey in 2010 (RD and trey are both top 450 guys now) also he has won gp's on the 450- now he's on a bike and team he is happy with he's going to prove himself this year. I'd say he will be a good bet to go back stateside in 2013 (he has already said he wants to go back at some point) - pourcel was way faster than barcia when they raced each other in outdoors!

As far as barcia beating wilson and baggett outdoors?! maybe in the odd moto- wilson and baggett pretty much owned barcia last year, same as RD and pourcel did in 09, and trey and pourcel in 2010. Barcia was way off the pace in outdoors last year in the 'lites' for most of the season

I agree with the last 2 sentences at least, the outdoors is going to be brilliant, I will be VERY surprised if barcia walks away with it though- I think wilson, roczen and baggett are all alot better outdoors than they are at supercross, marvin will be up there too. Barcia is a great supercross rider but has alot to prove yet outdoors in my opinion

pourcel has battled with RV, RD, and trey (and came a hell of alot closer to an outdoor title than barcia ever has!)he may not have won the title- but it went right down to the wire between him and RD in 09, and with him and trey in 2010 (RD and trey are both top 450 guys now) also he has won gp's on the 450- now he's on a bike and team he is happy with he's going to prove himself this year. wait though. You say Justin has only won an "odd moto" but yet you tell me Pourcel won an overall on the 450. so you can validate SP because of his, what 1(?) 450 o/a GP win, but Justin doesnt get that same credit for his 1 Lites o/a at which he beat both RD, BB and CP? Either way Justin has proven he can beat the best in the world on any given day and that is fact. He has yet to prove he can do it on a consistent basis outdoors though and who knows if he will this year. I hope to see him up front and battling with Wilson, BB, Ratray and the rest. I hope Musquin stays healthy and Roczen is faster than he is showing right now in SX. As RC stated at Daytona, I think most of us were expecting a lot more from him and want him to do well. The lites class is stacked and should be exciting.

That was the point i was trying to make- barcia hasnt shown he can be there consistently outdoors- pourcel has. Yes, justin has 1 lites overall win- how many does pourcel have?! pourcel was in championship contention and winning lots of motos in both lites outdoor championships he has entered, aswel as winning a world championship on the 250f, and also winning a few moto's (so far) in mx1 gps on the 450. Justin has only a few good motos outdoors in comparison.

And as far as roczen goes- I'm pretty sure he will have the pace outdoors, he is world champion! Supercross is a completely different ballgame (look at barcia- he's been the man to beat for 2 years in supercross and struggled outdoors)

Barcia is proving that he is the better rider in supercross at the moment (which he should be given the fact he has alot more supercross experience) but roczen in my opinion will be the better rider outdoors- look at baggett, outdoors he was untouchable at times last year, he's shown nothing like that in supercross yet. Same with wilson- much better outdoor rider

the outdoors this year in the lites class is going to be very very good! just hope all the contenders stay fit, itll be a good season for the fans!

Post a reply to: i bet barcia kicks ass in the 450 class
