I tried to look at it but an X-Games ad popped up in the way and I couldn't move it.

Told ya so!!

Here's the good part:

Because I've always said that the only way I'd own a four stroke is if someone gave it to me...

My friend, whom those of you that we've ridden with know as Bob "Reed", told me that if CR signs with Suzuki, he's going to buy me a new RMZ 450, and put #22 on the plates.

If he comes through, you can go ahead and call me John "Reed" if you want.Evil

The odds against Reed winning an SX championship vs. Stew just went down. DeCoster's going to make things happen!

Dunno 'bout that. Reed was the man between 2nd and 4th when both RC and JS were racing. Anyone know if this means CR will start racing outdoors?

Is this actually true or is this just GuyB stirring it up? And what are the details? Nationals this year? Next?

This is cool news. I hope Reed kicks some ass. Being around someone like DeCoster will only make him better.

I really like this move for Reed. It seems that as much as talent can get you places, so can the people around you. Not to say that L&M doesn't have people to make a champion, but I think that Roger D. will be able to motivate Reed like never before. This might bring him closer to James.

I know he's a badass. Sometimes I feel like I am in the minority for thinking that around here.

I heard a couple of weeks ago that CR was negotiating with RD.

I speculated that the hang-up was the whole SX only thing.

Actually posted it in one thread or another...

I'm thinking that JS going SX only at L&M (theoretically) would be a pretty big plus for CR to do real motocross next year.

Hell, had he done it last year, he'd be the reigning champ.

Reed was negotiating with the same team as Millsaps and Suzuki. I know that the one team turned down his return offer so he would have to be signing with Suzuki.

I like Reed but him and his manager have done a lot of damage to him this year sponsorship wise.

This would certainly be a win for Suzuki. Alessi to keep the fight outdoors, Reed to fight indoors. Both, however, will almost certainly be several seconds behind Bubba.

I think the change (if true) will be good for Reed and as he said in a recent interview, he is over the whole SX only deal and would like to get back to racing outdoors so it's a win-win deal as far as I'm concerned.
