Can you buy them in the states? I don't see them on the ktm site anymore.

As far as I know you can only get the 600 or larger in the states. "Super Duke" it might be named. I called a few local dealerships looking for a 125, 200, or 250 and no one could help me (some even told me I was crazy to ask and laughed at me - F them I won't spend a time in their stores again). The 125, 200, etc are only available in India and Europe. My bro just got back from India, where he stopped in the KTM dealership to inquire for me and found the 125 Duke (the one you may have seen Roczen riding around in videos) is about $2800 US dollars but about $1000-1200 in addition to ship it here.

I've never really liked street bikes but have a soft spot for those.

Really? $2,800? That seems cheap, yea, I can't ride a street bike to work or anything, but something fun to cruise around on in the summer would be awesome. 125 or 200 seems like it might be just right. Do you have more details?

Doesn't seem to be much info out there unfortunately. I've done some reading and there's a ton of speculation on if or when (if ever) they will bring the smaller Dukes to the states. Seems like they don't believe there's a market for them, but I'm not sure I agree. I'm with you that it would be super fun to cruise around on in the summer, that's kind of what I would like it for. Throw it in the back of the truck, take it on vacations, cruise around town for a half hour at a time, stuff like that. I'm not sure I'm willing to invest the time and headache it would take to get one here though.

But yes, $2600-$2800 is a damn attractive price - isn't it?

eh buddy! they both stand up easy...but the vtwins are so far superior in every way. even though they are heavier, the rake on the fork is so steep that they handle like a little bike. and yeah, rekluse all the way.

Hammer is that lime9 bike a 690 ? I heard you cant import the 990 duke into Canada. You hear of that?

lime9 bike is a 950. as of 2011 the 990's are homologated for canada. 2010 was a no go! the 990 has 20 extra hp and is fuel injected. the power diff is huge....about 7 lengths the the gears.

i'm not really a fan of the 690's....they are good for in town but for backroads and hwy's they are gutless and lack any speed past about 150 kph.!

A small Duke would fit nicely next to my HD FLHX. I'd be a potential buyer, to be sure. The larger displacement doesn't interest me, however.
