We finally could of seen the battle between RV and Stewart in heat 2, and shocking, the doofus puts a dumb dirty move on RV, and then totally crashes in the next corner. Just a joke.

Yea what was that dumbass thinking , that he was in a race or something, everyone of those guys should know to pull over for "certain riders"

it looked a bit extreme, but it still was racing.

Is it time for RV to serve another one of these?

I think it was a genuine accident. Would like a replay but I seem remember Mikes front end tucking as he tried to make the inside rut. As a result he completely misses it and ends up wide into Ryan. Just a mistake really.

Come on now, these guy's are proffessionals and that track looked crazy loamy! It was the third turn after those long well watered straights leading into those nice berms that were developed 20 yards before they entered the turn. How could he blow that?
Taking Ryan to the outside was key to getting back behind the top ten to let them work in some new lines and splash some of those over watered sections dry for Mikey's late race charge to the front.
A mistake? seriously?

On the first lap of a heat race? WTF for?

Last turn of an LCQ, definitely!

Well you get it. This thread is a prime example of who actually race,
and who don't.

Clearly an accident. RV made a small mistake entering the turn which caused him to square it up and his wrist to accidentally whisky throttle and blow Alessi's front wheel out from under him. RV then accidentally won the moto instead of doing a reverse knack-knack-to-high-side crash in the next corner.

"Jeff, he just did a reverse nac-nac in the corner!!" best quote of the night HAR!
3/11/2012 10:53am
Ha ha!!! I dont believe it. Rubbins racin'. These guys are at the top level, and should know to watch out. Leave the door open... get smacked. Period. Crossing lines in the air, thats a different thing. On the ground, shes open season. Some of you please sack up, buy a bike and race.

Or, start scrap booking and have some tea parties. Seems some of you are already doing the latter.

That was a good, but I think the best quote so far this year was when RC commented on the KTM 350 last weekend and said something like "I don't think i've ever showed up at race and asked for less cc's.

The crash was funny but he didn't hit RV on purpose, he over shot the rut with his front tire then his back tire kicked to the right when it hit the rut, he bumped him but couldn't help it. Don't feel bad RC and Emig miscalled it also, you could tell by the way they talked they are on the 800 hate wagon, Mike came back pretty good after his reverse knack I thought.

Was there any need for RV to ride at that level? With a 55 point lead I wouldn't of been to concerned with catching him either

If he hits a bump wrong or is slightly misaligned upon entering the rut, or he just misjudges his speed - then there's a chance bike and rider may become slightly unbalanced, climb out of the rut and high side. How good the rider or rut is will unfortunately never fully eliminate the possibility of a mistake. Given the nature of the track, similar errors must have occurred at least a dozen times over for just about every rider out there.

Admittedly I would like to see a replay of the incident. I only saw it twice but both times I could see the bike momentary tuck as he's about to lean in. I'm not a die hard Alessi fan or anything, I'm just trying to be fair to the guy. Other people saw it to.

Thats not what the Alessi camp said when Josh Grant made that pass on Mike a couple of years ago.

im so sick of hearing "oh thats just racing" . no it isnt, racing is beating the guy cuz ut faster then he was, not cuz you run into him or knocked him down. i know sometimes you tave to make contact to pass but in a mud race like that or any race you dont do that on the first lap

You are probably right. But, I dont care what the Alessi camp said or says. I stand by what I said. Alessi's have a long history of whining when things dont go thier way, so what. It seems like they are losing that. You see Jeff on here, and he doesnt seem to whine much or make excuses.

Anyways... yes.. it is starting to sound more like RonRon's in here every day.
