Chad should just come and hang out at the Outdoors this year. Do the autograph thing, the picture thing. Sit under the ez up getting hammered with Goose and Lars and watch some racing with the fans.

MXdes nations 2010???anyone remember??MX2+Open?what league...this league???
And as a privateer!!!racing for Puerto Rico??
Now what are we comparing here is a 19 year old on the rise against vs fabulous 29 year old .
Who would you invest in??
Hope he really comes down and shows hes still got it in the US.
God knows your MX1(Cairolli) champ got a taste US and your Mx2 champ(Roczen) is getting his as we speak.
Great great riders I respect very much.Enough said.

Who would i invest in to achieve better results this year?? Townley, 100%. But different strokes for different folks i guess. Regals best results were a couple of years ago against an arguably depleated field (not meaing to take anything away from him). He just doesnt have the runs on the board that townley does. Not to say he cant get there, he just hasnt yet in my opinion.

He's only 19, thats great, he has plenty of time to get the results Townley has achieved and maybe he will. He's just a kid at the moment though, BT's a solid professional on track and off, theres a big difference, may be why nobody offered Regal a ride this year. Who knows.
OK ..I guess you answered everything but the desnations 2010 League question...
And I promise that will be all for tonight....Be good mate.
Please describe deapteted for me...check out Freestone 2010 race please....Dungey,Reed,Metcalf,Grant,alessi,Byrne,Short,Wey,Millsaps,Sipes,Townley,Chisolm....hell man...looks like we missed Stewart and Villopoto???Now thats depleated.

Im not bashing just seemed like every race since then if there was a pileup Townley was in it...the sour taste grew because he seemed wreckless. Ill see if i can find that article id like to see shorts point of view. If somebody takes my country out of the most important race of the year i see it as they couldnt beat us straight up. Dude is crazy fast dont get me wrong but luck is not his friend and im thinking since reed has elected to sit nationals out before, he's not going to take the long shot

with Regal you will get what you pay for!!!
more than you would get out of Stewart or any other just for FOR THE MONEY!!!
And he may win on a given day...that will happen as he is only 19.
Maybe the word revenue in this case implies less risk...do the math.
And try to give us your option even if it is just your opinion, and try to leave it at that.
I'll just leave it at this. Reed said he's not sure if he would have a replacement rider because he doesn't feel like he should have his team, who expects nothing less than an overall win, pit someone out of the semi who will not win. All the top guys that can win are already contracted with their current teams. He might have a change of mind sooner or later but you can't blame him for his reasoning.

Pulp MX Chad Reed Interview

But if you want my replacement pick rider I'd definitely wanna see Townley back here kicking some arse! Cool

The cost of staying home is def less than the diesel, hotel rooms, food, rental cars, tires, parts, maintenance on vehicles. I'm sure that is some of what twotwo has to consider when putting another rider out there for the whole summer.

with reeds bikes and parts coming from Honda, wouldnt they have a say on if its worth them spending the money on a bike for a maybe top 5 guy on a good weekend, when there having issues keeping there own riders healthy.

I would be a perfect fit and I come cheap. He would get plenty of pr as I'm getting lapped 4or 5 times a race (plenty of tv time) and most likely passed out by the 25min. mark. lol

Hello fellow MXers!

I just want to know your thoughts on this..

I think that Ben Townley 101 would be the absolute best fit for Team TwoTwo Motorsports.

*He is doing really well in NZ at the moment.
*He is very eager and determined to come back to the states.
*He is from the same part of the world as CR22.
*He rides Hondas right now.

Greetings from Sweden, see you @ the Las Vegas finale!

PS. ofcourse i would like JS7 @ TwoTwo the most Smile
ben is fragile...unless that is what yer going for

I think JS on Two Two would be awesome, forget the past and have a mature partnership, that would be deadly!

One thing some are forgetting is the gear deals.

Obviously the Shift/Fox group are big $$ in TwoTwo, yet BT is contracted to Carlton Dry Honda THOR Racing.

I doubt with the money Yarrive (Owner of BT's team) would have had to find to pay him to race in OZ there would be the flexibility to miss two rounds out of ten of the Aussie series due to conflicts in dates let alone the Shift/Thor issue.

I hope your not talking about 377...Reed would have to buy a bigger rig just to fit CPs ego in it

That was the hint....but you're right. Though the ego may play into the team's advantage, i.e.: if you're so great, we'll pay you on a performance based contract. No win, no $$$.

All joking aside, it would be great to see another big name contender out there, be it Townley or anyone else who can compete for wins....maybe Reed will be healed in time....

CP is wicked fast! if he took a deal like that I would be pumped...a lot to be said for putting your money where your mouth is. I couldnt stand reed up until the Suzuki outdoor deal, and now to see him own his own team and getting better with age is mega

There is nobody available is worthy of a Factory Honda/ Two Two Motorsports ride in my opinion. Anything less than 3rd place is an insult to that effort. Chad himself just showing up at the Nationals and just hanging with the fans would provide better exposure for Honda and Chads sponsors than a rider on the track taking 9th.
