I know Reed doesn't wear a neck brace anymore. Does anyone know if he was wearing knee braces when he crashed?

Reed is an asterisk guy. Asterisk are the best knee braces out there and they support MX and SX a lot.

Ive got the new Ultra Cells and they are off the hook comfortable and functional.

the knee brace probably caused the tib/fib fracture.

I was kind of wondering if he had a chest protector on if it would of protected his back and ribs.

Windham doesn't (or didn't used to) , neither did Pastrana......we all know how that worked out for Pastrami

AFAIK he wore one up until he broke his femur in 2002 on the Suzuki. If I remember correctly the knee-brace was thought to have caused the femur break and so he decided not to where one when he came back in 2003 on the Honda. He may where one now, but I'm not sure.

The ACL is a surgical repair, lots of MCL self repair. He got a tib/fib fx and a torn MCL so I think the crash was just enough to overcome the brace.
